subscribe to the channel and if you have any questions leave them down below so without any further Ado I'm going to show you how to use cheat engine using stardew Valley and of course cheat engine to get started of course you're going to want to start up cheat engine and the game you're trying to modify now in order for you to modify the game in my case stardew Valley You're Gonna Wanna connect cheat engine to your game using this little button right here at the upper left corner of cheat engine click it and then choose the game from the process list in my case it's stardew Valley in your case it's whatever game you want to modify select the game same and open great now cheat engine is connected to your game and is able to scan for values in the game memory such as your money Health items and whatever and of course we're going to start with the most obvious cheat of them all unlimited money of course as you can see I have 1411 monies right now and I would like to replace that with all nines as many nines as possible so what you're going to want to do is go to a place where you can change your money by either buying things or selling things picking up loot whatever as long as you can change your money value in the game and you switch back into cheat engine you've already connected to your game what you're now going to want to do is specify what kind of value you are searching for over here at the right is all the settings you have for defining what kind of value you're scanning for now since you don't exactly know what kind of value this is in your memory set the value type to all as you can see there's all kinds of different value types we don't know which one the money is so just set it to all to cast the widest net possible enter your value in my case 1411 set the scan type to exact value that's the default after all that's done hit first scan and as you can see at the upper left corner in cheat engine we have found a hundred and eleven values that correspond to this value 1411. now we could change all of these but that would be a bad idea because it would probably crash the game but what we're doing instead is we're going back into the game and we're changing our money value then scan for whatever values have changed to the new value that were previously at 1411. isolate our money value good unlimited money go back in the game I'm buying some pepper seeds because I'm feeling spicy today as you can see my money is now at 13.31. that knowledge we go back into Cheat Engine and we enter 1331 or your new value whatever that might be and now very important to don't go don't for new scan you do instead go for next scan which will look for all the values that were previously at 1411 and now are at 13 31. next scan we have come up with four values that's good enough to change but we're gonna repeat the process anyways just in case that we can narrow this list down even further or spicy pepperino 12 11 now of 11 next scan as you can see I'm unable to narrow down the list any further so what you're going to do now once you've reached under let's say 10 values idea would be one but in this case we didn't get that select all the values by selecting the first one holding down shift and then selecting the last one and then hit the red arrow below this will add the values to your little tray of interesting values that you've saved up and now you're able to get unlimited money by changing all these values so again select the first one hold down shift and select the last one right click change record value and then enter whatever value you want no no no no no no no yeah hit okay and as you can see we have unlimited added money easy enough unlimited money unlimited likes on this video and this process can be repeated for items as you can see right here skill points exp whatever value you can think of clown to another function the speed cheat it can be found at the right all you have to do to slow down the game or speed it up is check enable speed cheat you can then set it to a value under one to slow the game down so 0.25 would be one quarter speed or a value above one to speed it up so speed 10 would be 10 times normal speed however most games don't actually go that fast they will tap out at about five times speed so I'm going for five and I hit apply and as you can see I'm pretty fast and I'm gonna set it to 0.25 apply and as you can see I'm pretty slow and that's how Speed cheats work simply uncheck the speed sheet to disable it I'm now going to show you some more useful examples and then I'm going to show you how to scan for unknown values let's try to get unlimited energy and sturdy value this is at 268 at the moment so we go back into cheat engine we look for 268 first scan value type all too many values spend some energy value is now at 260 entering the new value next scan 11 and since I see them changing all the time I'm going next stack scan again and again and we are left with one value we're gonna double click that by the way double clicking also works for adding it to the list also you can add it multiple times don't do that delete yes and as you can see this is a float value this includes fractal numbers 2.5 is a float value a four bytes can only be whole numbers let's just change that to 999.9 and as you can see my energy bar now fills the whole screen and beyond great success and then it got reset another thing you can do as in this case the game has reset my value to the maximum and allowed value what you can do to change that is you set it whatever number you okay and then you can freeze it by checking the box at the left side of the value this will freeze the value and not allow the game to change it any longer as you can see I have a ridiculous energy bar now and I can spend energy and it tries to reset but it doesn't work which is why the flickering is there great success let's now do this with items so as you can see I have seven gold bars here in my inventory let's make that 999. so we scan for the value 7 new scan 200 000 values let's make that stack a little bit smaller or next scan six next scan we're left with one value you know the drill by the way you can double click the value if you just have one and change it 99999 yes and as you can see 999 gold bars 999. I'm not sure the game allows for Stacks this big well my stack of 9999 just got laid into two stacks of 999 whatever sense that makes anyways unlimited gold confirmed alright we've done energy we've done money cheats we've done all kinds of items and whatever now let's do a value that we don't exactly know what it is so I'll see you guys in a minute all right so I just found an enemy that doesn't do too much damage for the purposes of showing this we're gonna try and pretend that we don't know our health value and we're gonna try and find it so here's what you do if you don't exactly know the value that you're looking for you're going for search type or scan type unknown initial value this is very important so this will scan all the values in the game that's a lot of values as you might be able to guess and it's going to take some time it's going to take a lot of PC memory and it'll turn just under a million values so you see the scale that we're working with what we're going to do here is we're going to scan by decreased or increased or unchanged value which is on their scan type so scan type decrease value increased value or unchanged value is what we're going to use we can increase the value in this case as it is a health bar by healing we can decrease it by taking damage or we can leave it unchanged to filter out values that just randomly change what's also important here is that you're able to pause the game to make sure that your unknown value does not change so what I'm going to do here first is I'm gonna heal by eating something else value increased all right my unknown health value should now have increased so we're going to scan by increased value we don't know exactly how much it increased but we know it increased next scan we still have a lot of values Let's do an unchanged value scan just to get rid of some of them and we were able to get rid of three million by doing that let's now decrease the value by taking some damage from this green nice slime over here yep just got three damage so we're going for decreased value next scan another 2 million values gone let's take some 74. I also have sometimes is going into the game quickly unpausing and re-pausing and going for unchanged value next scan boardy increased value you guys know the drill hit the grape increased value 20 values I'm eating a nice increased value again next scan and when I'm looking at all these values I can already tell which one the right one is but we're just going to continue on pause pause unchanged value next yo it's getting pretty obvious take some damage uh guess which one is decreased decreased value next scan well these three don't want to go away do they okay all right we are having a situation where we have four values that always change up and down alongside our health so I'm just gonna guess it's the 105 that's actually my health just an educated guess from years and years of using cheat engine I guess and also because the other values don't really make any sense whatsoever as a health value so we're taking this 105 which seems to be our health value we double click 999 999 yeah Breeze and we now have unlimited health without knowing our exact health value or rather pretending we don't know this was just a showcase for in a lot of games you don't actually know your health value you just know that it's going up or down or staying the Same by taking damage or healing that's how you narrow down the list it's a lot harder than actually knowing your exact health value but as you can see it works perfectly and that concludes all the basics of cheat engine use and how to use it to modify your games this way you will get unlimited money unlimited items skill points experience points crafting materials items cheese the world tour oyster in offline games however before we get started please keep in mind a cheat engine mainly Works in offline games that do not require an online connection so if your game doesn't run without the internet please be very careful as many online games will get you banned immediately if you use cheat engine on the
