How to upload a Garry's Mod Addon to the Steam Workshop [NEW]

yo what is up guys my name is venom here and today I will be teaching you how to upload a Garry's Mod add-on to the Steam Workshop hopefully this will be easy and a possible setup and it will just require two things following a rar extractable such as win war or any type of extractable that can support rar and also a uploader called GM PT this can all be found in the links down below so make sure just go check those out so as follows so first we're going to do is we're going to quickly open up our browser we're going to go ahead and type in the following link source forge dotnet forward slash projects again forward slash Garry's Mod public school press enter should load into the website or the actual link basically we're soon click download or quick I'm gonna go and down and distract it to our desktop so click download once the file is just as downloaded for every to your desktop anyone need your browser anymore from that point on go ahead and right-click on the WinRAR or the RAR file itself and extract you its file once that's done have it on standby on the left we really need to our file after that just keep it handy next get your add-on for my example I'm using an old rank system that I made a while ago and open up the GM PT 2 to you'll see another folder called GOP due to just open that up and you see Lib gmq jar GMP sayings out settings and readme.txt you probably won't have the extension set but it should look somewhat like this double hook on the JMP jar file and it should open up the actual extension itself so of course we're gonna do is we're gonna go in actually and create our add-on before research from the note 8 Sameera Queen in the actual selections you can choose from in the mod section create create you may update or extract either of these 4 items you can actually operate with create just makes you upload the add-on to the workshop Rita GMA basically tears aji me before we do it update is basically a system of where you can update your add-on by for me to the Steam Workshop to make any updates and extract is basically to extract out I'm kind of like you might extract so first go on it's like your file so press the folder button and go to desktop it's like the actual add-on itself click open and make sure it's saved the icon you also requires a 512 by 512 image because of steams workshops or res ability so make sure you have the ID on once your picture go and load that up while pressing open the title or add-on that Jason is basically all the set items at the add-on or that the Steam Workshop looks for about the atom so the title roots going to call this test rank system world or two once that is done go ahead and move towards your type races for super content you need to type in realism and roleplay before we continue we're gonna fix one issue that I've seen before in the path and happened to me actually play recently if you have multiple hard drives multiple SSDs this may be one of the main issues now because mike geary's mana is on different heights hard drive your gmod publishing utility will automatically search for on your C Drive which may cause you an error to fix this click on the Settings button then click on set paths here you see the gmod the G mod pass for the extractor and you'll see that Soria switch to my C Drive mines of my F driver Fox drop so let's fix that click your folder go to this PC go to your actual are sure of what Gary's mom is located click on your esteem library steamapps common Garry's Mod and then open up bin and then just be ready there press open and then go back to key mad paths we're gonna be exact same thing with the same one so make sure it's been a selected and then press open hopefully then that you'll be able to find a GM publish a txt ng m @ d @ @ HC now this is only in statement if you only have multiple hard drives if you don't want you only have a C driver your Garry's Mod result you don't don't worry about this press ok then press ok again and then you're ready to upload so click add to queue and you know see the status way to upload make sure you select it and then click execute you'll see all the files we had upload to the workshop itself and use the rest continue you'll see it open up the file like this and over the link this is due to the fact that the item is I'm not logged in to see right now and will be able to see it but I should be longing to see when you actually have this working you see this actually upload will close out of the browser open up steam go to our our to our profile put our workshop items and will notice test
