hello everybody and welcome to another episode of he asked repair today I'm going to show you how to change a nation call or module here on the Briggs engine anyway this is bad but show you how to test it but don't want to start you know you got ski on okay you want to see it if it's fired they make a priority capture film like this which I ordered from a phony shop and fit through the window take one in put it on a good ground some arch you know what's good the other end go on your spark plug wire then when you turn it over there's no spark in their shoulders h-bar everyone's down very well there's no Park for the first thing to do you know it's not funny just take it off okay all of them have a wire plug under here but you should kill our ground call out you do not put no voltage to that that's a ground only what you want to do is if you can't get to leave some time your plug wire run to a key motoring just unsnap it out here how about like right in here well that's not got one that hooks up and this wire with the Sun no eight over here for your carburetor so what I'm going to do tari unplugged but run up on the flywheel make sure date shorting out under there I'm gonna just dump like it start site so that unplug we can't ground it out back cold good with that kill or unplug Lord spark here you went through the kill wire and it don't run bark you know the cold pad on sunlight mowers even twins under like this one it got to start to cut off your magnetron and I know within the Megatron's a boo-boo it's magneto it's it magneto Haley get to that magneto here there's still a kill wire on it that's it for a single piston isn't for it to dual cylinder or two biscuit well but I only like my redline more upper it's got two separate calls here it's be tweeting it's got two separate calls for one for each cylinder and they've got a cue our ultimate grounds it out this got dialed hooked and serious with it but diode sorts out it'll kill the motor won't let it start to play fit now well so now we have to change cold but you know you to get to this guy they call you capo I already knew this cold back off you look real close when a door it blowed out right there a kind of like and it kind of bolts and soldered right there which sorted out somebody mess with the wired on this thing voltage through that ground wires on the belt don't do that now we've got this wire here that's re got ground wire on it go it the key switching the wirings all messed up so that's the only way I have to kill it so when you hook it back up you have to hook your ground wire back up but for the time being I got to use this one some people say don't make a difference but I also you'd like to make sure the indoor cleans lit make good contact but I also like to make sure the magnet they're clean when people say it don't make a difference so it's it does be your own judge and this when you got a certain way to put these holes see this is this side out that means it goes up kill wire always goes on the bone if you flip it over like that it won't run so you plug your kill wire up but I can't plug in put up this jet color I have no way killing it and I always like to clean off the post with screws go so it gets good ground stuff put your screws those dark wood please take 5/16 or 8 millimeter I don't tighten them all the way down just yet I just know them he tied them down you don't want to over torque him and break it will strip it right well you break your leg off you run that motor less you can find a way to put them leg back on and get it back timed right so what I do now set the air-gap I pick just a regular business card paper get have it loose enough put it down there between the flywheel and the time look Magneto turn around so that the magnet pulls it up to it don't force it just let the magnet start do the work see it come around how it move it but make sure get that car if I hide both legs hold your card in place you have to hand bend around and tighten it up like I said don't over tighten it then maybe part flip or your card now both put your butt plate back down but I'm gonna show you here put Wireless take it I know it's cold good we didn't hate running to the motor would probably start but I gotta have this wire to kill it like I said normally you would put your factory-installed kid wire on it hook it back up or plug it up how it runs like I said you do not put voltage to that wire its ground only so this motor will probably start but watch that window there let's park jump let me look on the bright side each no it works hmm really need a dark spot to do things hey Tarkin I know you can't fit and I'm sorry but I just figured up the spark plug look real close you can see it Arkan you really need a dark spot to do that in I'll do it here in a minute demonstrate that on the plane here in a minute another lawnmower but prove us run remember it grounds out to kill it better get weak so I need to charge the battery well go for this a lot more and I'll demonstrate under the shade if we can sit better how to this tester works just like a little lightning flash that's one way of jackman okay here's another tester it just uses a neon life but take five posters set at all same thing subject pad like an inline you put this over the end of your spark plug make sure a boots over it and put this end up beside the call and that bulb will light up as it's turning over actually pissed got remember acid that coal I told you for the twin toonder come off with motor so you got memories got two wires I tab won't try to go dead and both Michael did I never tried it but then again once I could be dead yelling to be alive anyway that's how you check call wired set the air gap no motors thanks for watching you
