HOW TO START DREADLOCKS WITH STRAIGHT HAIR (Tutorial)

some initial man pet you know I'm saying I know everybody been asking me about the tutorial dread video and then I waited till I got to the end I should have started in the beginning to show y'all but this man right here is my man right here he got straight hair like myself I did this whole thing took about like six seven hours ready to do this whole thing now we on the last set so I just want to show y'all the last set how I did it so I got my little dread head call mr. Cohen small teeth back call me right let me let me get to y'all you know I'm saying let me show y'all you know I don't feel like I needed to do every single one so y'all could see is you know say maybe one good one so you see so I partied it out it's the last section what I do is I backcomb this just like that tangling them up so you want to back home so you could you know get the hair to kind of matted tangled and then I'm gonna come in with uh you know with my crochet hook crochet hook look like this I got it at one Whoopi and one the 1.0 millimeter and I'm saying well you get small teeth don't get too big though you want to get a small teeny one so what I do I got that I grip so much out of here and you just come with the crochet hook and you just kind of just met them together you want to grip them together and you want to keep twisting it as you go so that way it will get every area every angle and then sometimes I'll come from this angle and I'll just poke it right through see as you can see you can see hair sticking up so what the crochet hook do is just it just pulls one side of the hair together and then you come from the other angle and you see I'll see that just one on and you come from a different angle and you do the same thing so you do it throughout the whole hair from every angle from the side front back so you take a look at his hair all that was today just a little while ago and it already looked nice it looks full ready you dig what I'm saying it looks good and I'm not even done yet because I still got a touch up certain part cut cert you know I'm saying I got a line this man up making him look fresh you know I'm saying whenever y'all see this men in town and show you how they been like eggs I see you on YouTube see right here the bottom see everyone have a different style technique some people they just like to leave like that but my man he wanted like mine he wanted to round kind of end so what I do is I stick the my crochet hook down from a different angle and then I just pull that these hair in so you continue doing it see I'm gripping it I'm pretty much kind of curving it out right now but I'm holding it too to grip it cuz I could full using my finger see as you see it's already starting to do that now continue this feel it tightening up feel the ball the bottom tighten up and it's good and then I just palm roving palm roll is pretty much this keep it in place make it look nice and neat and if you feel like this certain area you want to improve in just continue doing it but you feel like okay that's done you just call it good for that for that line alright so now we're gonna light them up make them look fresh you need as you can see he got I got the size cut you know so I'm just touching it up right here [Music] that's a bigger game going on [Music] Lorraine now I'm saying check it out baby shake out the whole hair with the lineup and everything look at that y'all his hair still short stories for me sticking up but once he put just some weight cap on it or something see with a rag on and it's only gets long either just lay right down but right there baby what hi little boy man [Music] [Applause] [Music]
