[Music] greetings everyone and welcome to basa Nation now I know it's been a long long time since I've done the video let's just say that last year was a bad year for my family and I was very much caught up taking care of things for my family and either case I believe that I'm finally squared away and I finally have some time to create more about this set of videos thank you for not losing faith in me and let's hope that 2024 will be a much better year for basa Nation now then with the release of basa 39 March and the great controversies running Yuzu I decided I wanted to focus on S emulation for my first video in 2024 consequently while I'm not going to touch Yuzu I will be providing a step-by-step tutorial how to get Ru up and running about the seta but before we can do that you will need some important files to get switch emulation running about the seta indeed while you won't need to worry about downloading the emulator you will need the following files switch firmware I would suggest firmware 16.10 because I personally tested it I know it works therefore I will go with that one first once you got everything up and running then I would venture on trying out the latest firmwares you're also going to need the prod Keys the title keys and the dev Keys unfortunately I can't tell you what to find them or how to make your own backups nonetheless Google is your friend finally you're also going to need a backup of your gains once again I can't show you how to backup your games but you can find your Solution on the internet just make sure your backup games have an file extension of NSP or xci these two file extensions are definitely working with the emulator once you have everything copy those files on a portable hard drive from there we can load up aeta in fact let's go ahead and do that all right so we're about to set up let's go ahead and press F1 on your keyboard and then go to Applications and you can see there I got both emulators already installed I've done this already from a previous Bill I'm going to go ahead and repeat the process for you go ahead and double click on X term now you'll see this screen and from there type this curl space minus sign capital l space switch dot bateta dopr space and then you type this key here which is found right underneath the backspace and above the enter key right and then space bash make sure you connect it to the internet otherwise this won't work if the command is correct hit enter and that's what you'll see okay let it do its thing it's going to install the emulators for you now early on turns out when B 39 first came out USU was automatically taken out from this command but they apparently they've added it back in there so we're not going to mess around with us and you'll see all that if everything is correct you'll see that 100% On all five of the different versions of the ulator there go it's done and from there you see the screen right what tells you where to put the keys and where you put your firmware right we're going to follow those directions also says here in case of any issues try using open JL instead of vcan all right all right that's it once it's done type exit and if you go into your game folder you should see a switch folder and there it is okay so copy your Gams to your switch folder and from there let's go into the bi folder and from there you'll see a switch folder right there go ahead double click on that and here's where you copy the your firmware and of course you put your keys right here okay so I'm going to go ahead press F3 I'm going to go back to the first screen right here and I'm going and select my portable hard drive where I got everything in there and I'm going to go into this folder right here all right from there I'm going go into my keys select everything copy and then we're going to go from there to this folder and paste everything and then from there I'm going to the firmware double click on that it's Mt of course let's go back to the First Column right here and let's go up and going to my firmware right here select everything copy and go into the other folder the second column and paste everything right and this also should work for user as well all right so now that we're done and we got the games already copied into the games folder we're good to go all right from there just go ahead and close this out and let's go into applications again and we're going to go into this emulator right there Rings config Right double click on that okay then from there go to options going to settings and make sure that this directory is there okay if it's not there just go ahead and add it manually but it should be there automatically all right save all right then go back to options going to show file types okay my case the gam I've got are NSP and then go back in there and I also got some xci click on that right and go back to options if you got anything else just go ahead and select those as well all right but these are the ones I have done all right you can see that it loaded up all of them right now I got to install the firmware so going to tools going to install firmware and we want to inst start it from a directory okay let asking where going to to the user data go into the BIOS and uh go look for switch folder and there it is and then select the firmware open it's going to ask you do you want to install it yes and it's that's it that's installed right and from there if you want to go ahead and test make sure things are working fine just go ahead and select the game double click on it it should load up everything as well may take a little while but be patient as you can see there it worked quite well I hit alt f4 to get out of the emulator from there go ahead Let's test it out with ineta so select file close window and from there hit the start on your game pad go into game settings update games list all right from there you should have a switch folder and there it is I'm going to go ahead select my switch folder and from there go ahead and press start again and go into scraper you can scrape your games uh select three scraper which is the best one and go ahead and scrape now okay once that's done go ahead back to start go into game settings up the games list you should be able to see your artwork in your games okay from there I'm ready to test my games I'm going to stay away from all the big end games uh and just go trest this one here out all right go ahead and press select in your game pad to set the emulator up go to Advanced system options uh emulator I'm going to go ahead and choose this one that's the main one power mode I choose high performance because you know I'm using the PC uh and this is highend emulator so it does need all the juice you can get this here will allow you to adjust your Watts on the particular ryzen mobile series CPU okay I'm not going to take any chances right so I'm going to leave an auto which should be at 100% right you can bring it down if you want to but that'll be useful for handhelds using a ryzon mobile chip okay so I'm going to go ahead and leave it at Auto which you be at 100% okay decorations let's say you want to test to see how well your system is able to handle these games uh then you go into like performance right Al otherwise leave it at Auto and then from the performance you can choose where you want the performance to show you how the game is performing using your system okay leave Auto this leave it auto uh doc or handheld if you got a powerful system go ahead choose doc which is automatically set as Auto if you have a weak system then go ahead and choose handheld that'll give you a little more oomph and it won't be so demanding on your system okay so I want to go ahead and leave on do Graphics backend Vulcan if for any reason giv you a hard time go ahead and choose openg go right but for now I'm going to go ahead and choose Vulcan system region well that depends upon where you live I want to pick USA system Language American English of course you also have all the options right there as you can see if there's any tearing in the games go ahead and select on I for the time being as is you can also spruce up the graphics by going into these different options I'm going leave it auto resolution scale course that 720 is negative right you can also bring it up to 1080p whatever it may be okay I'm going leave it an auto for the time being this also leave it auto everything else leave it an auto okay you're good to go all right let's go ahead and test that out no [Music] you can see that it works quite well now let's go ahead and uh do some game updates of some DLC okay I'll show you how to do that right now all right go ahead and press uh escape and then go ahead and press F1 let's go back to Applications go back to the emulator double click on that there it goes all right so let's go ahead and uh put these all after order all right and let's uh look at crash 4 you can see the version number is 1.0 okay and right click on it let's go into manage title updates from there you can see that I got no updates I'm going to go and add it go to add uh my files on my little portable hard drive and going to Updates this right here and these two here are DLC and this this one here is uh is the actual update so I'm going to go ahead and select that one add you can see that it says 1.2 go ahead and save it and then if I look for it again it should say it's been update 1.2 right let's go ahead and select it again and let's go into DLC manage DLC and going to add and uh go back to my port drive go back go back to this folder right here and I'm going to go ahead and select these two with the keyboard go ahead select with the keyboard and just add and there it is Save Right be good to go and of course you'll do that for any other games you have updates and deal LC's all right and then go into file exit let's go ahead file close and I'm going to go ahead and try it out [Applause] as you can see that the game works quite well Al at the very beginning at the intro you can see there was no audio but as the game kicks in the audio picks up as well all right if you're wondering my system here let me go ahead and show you what it is I'm running this on the Ryon 7840 U I would recommend as a bare minimal or Ryon 6800 U okay for the best performance now then if you also want to use the other emulator you can go ahead select uh your select button go into advanced options and of course select it from there okay uh now if you don't see this on your screen it all that means that they taking it all together so it may not last I don't know but if it's still there you can of course you can use it of course you also have the option let's say you have a game that does not work with the main emulator that you're using you can select the other emulator to do that press the A or the B button in your game pad and you get to this screen and go into advanced game options and from there you can choose the other emulator whatever UL you need to all right all right that's it now then it terms out the JS has come a long way since I've last tested it out last year uh the emulator has gotten quite compatible with a lot of games and it's fast and Speedy I'm really impressed with it in fact there's even some games uh that were not working Yuzu that's working quite well in ruing so fact let me go ahead and give you a little demonstration here's one game that does not work in Yuzu but does work in Ru jinkx so let me show you what it does in U as you can see that it doesn't run Yuzu now let's try the other one [Music] com all right that's enough of that as you can see Ryu Jinx has become rather powerful switch emulator so give it a shot before we wrap everything up I got to teach you how to update these emulators and by the way this only works for switch emulation but about to set makes life so much easier even better than Windows you will see all right so first thing first you got to make sure that you are connected to the internet otherwise this won't work from there go ahead and back out and then go to ports in from ports you will see switch update look for it right click on that and it should do the trick it will automatically update the embl for you without you having to do anything else you can see there there's the updator all right again let it do its thing and it will automatically download it for you all right I'm going to go ahead and fast forward this section here and we're done that's it yeah easy peasy all right well that's a right I hope you can enjoy some switch emulation abouta again Ru Jinx has come a long way since the last tested it out last year and I'm delightfully impressed so what's next for baetta nation well I decided to take a little detour for baetta why because I want to show you what I've been working on with my favorite hhill at the moment that is the Odin 2 even though we Cann now install emulation station I got something cool to show you in my next video indeed before emulation station came out I tinker with another Android front end and I've managed to create a unique interface that you won't find anywhere else and that's no exaggeration in fact before emulation station for Android came out I wanted to create a b to set of like experience in Android you know what better yet let me give you a sneak peek in this video [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] to [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] again that's
