How to setup Midea AC Wifi Controls for Google Home or Alexa

so this can be a quick tutorial on how to set up the medea app so that you can control your air conditioner with it so i'm going to hit add device and then i'm going to choose my window ac and look at that it already found the device which is crazy so i'm going to put in my wi-fi password and then once i have my password in i'm going to hit start configuration and you'll see that even in sleep mode because i just had it on by the way you do have to turn on before this it's going to find the device and then it's going to take maybe like i don't know a minute to connect here and then what we're gonna do after this is open our google home app and control it so i can name this like living room ac and then i click living room so i choose the room there we go recommended names success and now check it out i can click this i can turn it on it's going to open and then i can control the temperature from here so if i wanted i can change it from fan mode actually first i have to change it into air conditioning mode so it's on fan mode right now so i have to go to cooling and you'll hear it's going to kick up that inverter in the back but i can go down to 60 degrees and you can see how quickly it's updating there so the app works really well and then we can change if we want it to change the ventilation so if we want the swing so you can see that this piece is moving up and down right now and then we can put it on a schedule even if we want to and we could turn the sound on and off the beeps and change the fan speed so right now it's on low we could do fan speed 100 so i'm actually going to turn off the ac so it's not messing the audio as much but you can see that the app is really responsive now what i'm going to do is go to google home and i'm going to open this app here and in the top of google home i'm going to refresh it and it doesn't give me the option to link here so what i'm going to do is click add and then set up a device and i'm going to choose works with google then it's going to give me a list of things here and so i'm going to type in the search medea so we choose media air and then it's going to ask me to put in my medea login so i'm going to do that right now so i'm going to hit ok to authorize the device once i hit log in and then you'll see in just a few seconds it's going to say media air is linked and i'm going to choose the device living room air conditioner i'm gonna put it there living room and so now in my living room devices if i scroll down here we can see that i have the medea air air conditioner so i could tap it in google home and it'll do that now check this out hey google turn off living room air conditioner okay turning off the living room how cool is that now watch this hey google turn on living room air conditioner to 72 degrees the living room is currently off to make any changes you'll need to switch it to a different mode hey google turn on living room air conditioner okay turning on the living room hey google turn on living room air conditioner to 72 degrees there it is how cool is that
