How to set up Xpadder for use with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - TheGamingShovel

what's up guys today I'm going to be showing you how you can set up an Xbox 360 controller for use on Call of Duty 4 on your computer now the first thing you'll need to do is you want to click this little controller and click new now you'll get this purple screen and to make it a little bit easier on yourself you can download images of your controller which I already have downloaded and I will open all right now you'll want to click sticks enable and this enables your left stick first and you see what I just did there you press left and then up in that order and it'll set your stick so it'll go right when you press right up down and left now same for the other side and it'll do the exact same thing now for the d-pad you'll want to enable it up down left right see whenever you press it it goes where you tell it put it where it needs to be buttons now this one is sort of more complex um where there are a lot of buttons there is left bumper left trigger right bumper and right trigger Back start the home button y move that up a little bit B A and X all right now that you have all of these added oh and make sure you don't forget the left stick click and the right stick click because those are very important in Call of Duty all right now go to triggers and enable them hold left trigger and it activates those as triggers all right now okay and then you'll have this now the controls for Call of Duty 4 are right click to aim left click to fire your weapon four for your special grenade G or middle Mouse button for your normal grenade um and those are the main options for now but I'm going to set up the controller and you need to put every control the same as I do for the right or left trigger you will want to put rightclick for the left trigger you will want to put left click for right bumper you're going to want to put G for grenades and four yes four for your special grenades now this this is what will control your character you want to click this and WD all right here you want to make sure that this is assigned to six to activate your skill your score streaks and five for your grenade launchers on your assault rifles over here this is what you will aim with you'll want to choose Mouse normal that'll change this to your normal Mouse settings now over here will be how you sprint so you'll want to press left shift all right and over here this will be your melee so you will want to press V now keeping mind these are the standard controls and if you have them set otherwise you will need to change them to fit your controls now for y is how you switch weapons so that will be two all right B will be C for Crouch now what you can do with this to make it more like it would be on an actual console is once you've selected it click Advanced click right here this box add hold zone now click back on it and this is just my personal preference but I put it on 20 20 don't this will take it up 10 seconds meaning that's how long you'll have to hold it this will take it up 1 second a tenth of a second and a 100th of a second all right and here you'll want to press left control for prone and then okay and then now that's set up for that now for a you will want to put space for jump and X would be R to reload now over here we're going to do the exact same thing we did with C Advanced add hold Zone click it up a tenth of a second click back f f is how you interact with objects in the game like if you run out of ammunition you can pick up someone else's weapon Etc all right now what you'll want to do is for back you'll want to put that as Tab and start as Escape now what I've done here is I've basically set it up with the basic controls for Call Of Duty Modern War as I were I am sorry Call of Duty 4 modern Warfare uh if and as I said earlier if you have your settings something different in game you'll need to organize these to your settings or organize your settings back to the default anyway guys thanks for watching and I'll catch
