hi welcome to repairing llamas for profit in this video I'm just not to go out in the mall 'mobile and pick up a to come say petrol lawnmower that have won on facebook marketplace for just 15 pounds the chap that was selling this only 30 pounds does help some streamers with it which it didn't want so I just quickly offered in 15 pound cash for the lawnmower as I said to come see engined lawn mower the reason I specifically want this is because I've just written their massive article at the website repair llamas for profit and after service leaves up including all the little tips and tricks you might need to know including sometimes as well and this is a big deal this why the Canberra to what Prime and the llama what room so I'm gonna get straight on with this I'm gonna go pick this lawn mower up I'll be back in about 15 minutes and we'll bring it back we'll do some servicing on this to come say a lot more if this is your first time repairing llamas for profit YouTube channel be sure to subscribe and tick the bell notification that way I can keep you up to date on everything that's going on on YouTube you won't miss a single video and it's completely free so this is the actual conversation we had on Facebook marketplace and what picking the lawnmower you can see exactly what I've tapes you've got to be a bit quick and you've got to be a little bit cheeky but at the end of the day I didn't want the streamers so it's erm it's not a problem if you didn't want to sell it for that it's not a brilliant llama as I've said I just want the sitcom's there it's not going show few people a few little tips and tricks on it but this is what I do when I get the cows ready to go I've actually got a couple new casuistry I've got this one here I've swapped this one I had a red and a blue one before but we've we've kind of updated them a little bit want to show you I always just put a thicker mat down here just in case anything leaks through it looks ok this llama looks fairly tidy and I'll just put another one on top just because when you drop the grass box in here you can get in a bit of a message just to shim if you just mess in your care some people have bothered some arm but I also keep this strapped in here as well and what these are these are just two adjustable spanners because I've used to go it's a lot more years ago whether to replace that or handle them on the side and you can undo me fingers so they're actually bolted on if you have two adjustable spanners like I've got here you can guarantee that you can get the handles down on an ill armoire and you'll have a problem getting it folded down in the back of a car this is just a Ford Focus I can usually get two or three in here comfortably I'll just get this house down the side of their really understood that as well he also keep us back up under their weather and tell us as well but that's not really something you need to know by off always go not just in case you break down so I want to climb that back in there I'm gonna go pick this lawnmower just a really quick update as well I'm actually I've sold all the lawn mowers ever think of salt six or seven now I've only got my own so I'm really quite short on long more so I'm currently looking on Facebook marketplace eBay Gumtree have put an advert out on Facebook and looking in shop windows and I'm sure that sir I'll find some better ones soon so as if by magic and I have this performance power to come say lawnmower which is obviously not the best Longhorn I've ever bought but it does help me just write these articles just reminds me of exactly have to do these procedures so it can help someone out the problem with these lawn mowers you don't see in any movie or videos it's just unbolt in this carburetor it's not the easiest thing to get to there's like a ball here there's one right on the other side that you can probably get to if you really tried had but you've got to get around the back of here what I like to do with these is take the recoil off the air filter box take the exhaust guard off the exhaust off the run ball everything in check this carburetor off properly but for now getting cold now tonight so I'm just going to try and start this up but what I am a little bit annoying about is this recast completely broke and the guy who sold me today what's a risk cost so you obviously remember just gets given these or whatever but this recoil is Brooke and so kind of botched it up of it which looks a bit of a mess so I just said oh can you ever just quickly fire this up there's absolutely nothing in there so it's during that outlet sir good new for me on a travel well anyway says it's smelling the Carroll so let's just drop a bit of fuel in here let's just see if this will actually start so completely much just to be honest different so listen good chunk of fuel in there make sure there's nothing if you're trying to start alarm off the first time you've not done it you don't know if it runs or anything like this one I don't think he's been running it for a long time make sure that yeah fuel is this these llamas have a prior on but you can never really tell if they're doing anything on the side so priming a few times but you don't really you can't hear anything when you prime it like ton of bricks so you've got no indication really without setting it off I want you from the back if there's any feel going through here I've checked the flares on right and I'm sure there's nothing underneath so I'm not sure why that's died there I didn't actually cut that off so not exactly sure why that's died I don't think it can we've got really run for a few minutes obvious had just been punched to sell this you know itself espares are repair so that's fair enough so it was kind of a one-time deal not a lot more running gonna want some work to stop it coming out we're gonna probably need to a service discount Retta see if we can do anything with this pull card as well and just set this mechanism off and see if we can find a spares our repair lawnmower with a decent recoil on it and replace it bit of a strange almost you normally get these llamas that run through a while and then cut out if all these killing finish see these cooling fins in here if all this is just bobbed up for graphs and everything actually if you look at that plug plugs just let's check it that off there what we've got going on here oh yeah this has got a springer some sort of spring over the plug that's a different type of connector than I've seen in a long time but it's on right you know the plug isn't in particular tight either so I have a look at that so a few things to look at but I've noticed I'm not just at some rooms that's the main problem when you get a lot of noise get running once you know runs you've got half a chance sorting this out so what I'm going to do with this is I'm going to service this so I want to show you how to get the carburetor off the maybe easier ways as I've said just to sneak around the back and get this cow before I'm going to show you how to strip this down take the carburetor off and service it just for reference is - that is it - concept 35 we'll just take a look at this service ticket as well on here see if we can read exactly why it says it's just salted the oil tells you to come say regular unleaded SAE 30 oil it says not much other information on their platform season to come see now suspect it's three and a half or a half four horsepower model they usually are so might not be too expensive as I said it's only cost me 15 pounds if the only thing you need to buy as a reco it's going to be 30 now I've got to be very careful not to spend too much on this cuz the problem with this is it's got a plastic death which I really don't like I won't find out I want to sell it I'll just sell it as nice and light you're not light weight but it's not going to be worth an awful lot of money with a plastic deck and North self-drive so if I was to buy their recoil cover be spending nearly 30 pounds and I'll probably be lucky if I've got 60 70 for this if that at the minute so I've got to be careful what I spend there whenever think of all this but for now we're gonna go look online and see if anyone's got to come to a reco so it's dark outside now I've decided to bring this lava in the garage all to do is remove this free car cover I've just looked on eBay for one of these a secondhand one now can actually get one with this decal still on there every time and it's 12 pounds so I'm probably gonna have to do that all I get this recoil cover off here just started I'm doing that well had to do with that is I've just have to hold it down with a 40 mil spanner and undo this top one hand over the 13 advanced I managed to get that off so this is all screwed into here I'm not exactly to show or something but sir just recently I've just purchased this Ryobi 1x I think it's a 1x a 1 plus this is like an electric impact tool I've never had one of these before to be honest with you so um but I've seen a lot of videos a lot of people has got like a quick-release thing on here what I liked about this one is I want to use it for undoing all these little bolts and screws and getting in and after would like plug this in all the time the other impact rubberman driver that I've got fantastic which is a Clarke one I've done a review on this Clarke want of use for taking the blades off and I'll put that in the top right corner of the screen now as a cab but this one is just a battery one but the reason I wanted this one is because it's actually got very variable speed on can you see that so you can actually undo things I'll take things up a variable-speed this a few stripping things off now don't think it's quite got the power of the the electric one that plugs in I think he's 250 nm this was on offering being cube which was 80 pounds and the world saying screw fix and tool station was only a hundred nm and 98 nm and it didn't have adjustable speed on it as well so I'm gonna use this tonight and give this cigar so kinda wanted to get a more just to have a little play around with this if I'm honest with you because I've seen a lot observe seen a lot of videos with people just using these just undoing things because these little power see where someone screwed this in just gonna make my life a little bit easier just to get in and do things obviously I don't really need to use it only if I'm just going to get used to using it we're gonna get this read code with cover off and I'll glove all come to Neath it I'm sure I can fix it and I don't like this big hole in it I just want to know exactly what's going on that was the last of those out it's just thought quicker than doing everything by hand Meireles so look at this synth so just looking at this recoil can't see really see now I've taken this off so many problem for this it's actually got two silver mallet it's car looks a stick out when you pull it off there weren't actually sticking out very well when I first took this off but it does seem to pull it round drop this on here everything seems to connect what kind of now on again I can pull in it now it doesn't all connect so I'm not sure if it just doesn't get a good connection with the inside of this static up it may be that these are just worn off a little bit but someone's obviously been in here and it's not something out there I don't like to take these off I don't like to mess where the springs I just don't think it's worth Zapdos certainly don't wanna be injuring myself hitting myself with a spring not for the sake of 12 pounds book the recoil itself seems to pull over okay I can't find what's wrong with it so I've known Lee imagine it's a problem with the internal part of this which is rise up to ball all this together let's just undo this a little bit let's just see where I'm gonna do this I'm done so don't like taking these apart too much for ya obviously this parts not the correct path problem is I don't think I've got a little one of these so compare it against was opening right up on them the Garrett used to keep quite a few recoils not got anymore but yeah what you notice it if you pull this overage these little looks of stops to count anymore unless he's really tight on the top and stretch tightening that back up again but less that's really tight on the top it's tightened down correctly let's just see what it pulls over it's really struggling is that so I'm not gonna worry about this too much for now I'm going to turn this lawnmower out so I can get this exhaust side and I want to show you how to take everything off this and these are repaired to get to the cow properly I'm gonna take this recalc cover off which includes taking the petrol tank off on this exhaust gap and gets it to really awkward bolts which underneath here and all that is just to access the carburetor on the other set so we can service this up so I'm not gonna worry about that too much but I'm not giving up all hope on the starter recoil yet so let's turn this more around and let's take a look at the other side of it so I'm beginning to find all sorts of things I don't like on this llama I'm not sure that's the correct fuel holds for a star looks really quite wide to me well to get all this apart I'm gonna have to do is take this air filter off here this actually schools on the others one here and one there on the back so as a start we'll have to set the whole air filter box off and the only way to do this proper to get in and clean everything as well if it's really about is to take everything off and take the recoil off you just have a proper look around and that's what I like to do I like to be able to get in I like to be able to get to these linkages without having to turn undo all this I mean how can you put these linkages on properly with this air filter box and this recall covering the way so I'm gonna get a Phillips screwdriver I'm going to start by undoing this air filter box some of these Tecumseh engines just have a separate air filter which is much better than just bolts on the back of this camera it's like a just they're like a circular filter the guys on the back this has got this whole gripping Fox on so I just take that cover off and I'll take this filter out I'm just gonna do these pants here undo this screw you see that don't want to run that off so what I'm gonna do is get an impact driver on that I'm gonna undo it with that when I say an impact driver I don't mean the new one I mean one of these good old-fashioned heavy old ones so I don't want to ground anything off if we round that off I'll never get that off so it's gonna spray that I'll transfer a something down the back of the other oil no doubt the other one will be worse to get off these are the worst things to take in the path don't always a fight that succumb sale ones because I really do run well once you get them running problem is having to fiddle around the surface of calibrator and get off well well I normally do and I'm going to start on something off like that I hid around me things off is I get this really heavy impact drive and I just put this normal ending it here let's cross that end in it just with the extra weight in there I can usually just get things undone that's very tight so have a few girls getting off on I don't wanna round it off so we're gonna do what should have probably been the first place I'm gonna get a socket hopefully you can get that on there just about we'll just get that on done if not after getting extender all that's it it's amazing if you can just get a socket on what a difference that makes you probably think are yes just stop filming it undone that well I haven't I honestly haven't would normally come up with the actual impact driver that's a really good tip by the way if you ever get an GAD off underneath for the eve the blade like the blade belt gap if you can't get the little screws out get one of these and just use the extra weight behind it and it brings in a little rusted screws off underneath so not the best demonstration here but some things you can definitely look look out for doing now that's come off perfectly rounded it off for anything they'll be able to pull that back in using this Phillips screwdriver so that's undone so you don't have to put this massive air filter box back on either you can just bow um that just pushes over the back of the carburetor so hopefully that's gonna come off I'll get out of the way that was a stroke and look I'm glad it was a minute one was looking not the year foul on a spoof drop down there into the cutting deck there so I'm gonna get this little pickle no pickups over here I'm gonna grab that one there I've used that many times in fact I bought that cup off a few of these but my kids normally snap himself a little bit of a better one but I remember years ago when I first started doing this I'm not even sure if I was filming at the time my lab had got the actual blade bolt and his and then I dropped it down to the sump Nomos to get it out one of those anyway that's in a story town that's the actual air filter off and out of the way I'm going to show you now is what I refer to as a killer tip so I'll take note of this one this is it this is a really good one so if you've got a car Beretta that's a come take a beretta that warm prime you see this horror you will keep your eye on they saw you when I'm pressing this primer ball absolutely nothing happens now if I go back and get this screw from in here and actually put this screw back in here like this what you'll see now might just get you out of a little holes if you're not finding you've got to come see that will prime if you put that screw back in there and then you look at the hole ready so nice small amount you can see though that's primary without that screwing this caliber I still want prime that just don't work without the screwin it's actually designed to be intimate this actual carburetor crime so if you've taken it off and you've serviced it and you wonder why you've gotta come say a lot more or any carburetor if it's a come to say that want pram it's probably because you ain't got this bolt back in the back so make sure that's in because if it isn't it definitely walk prime this looks like a really thick fuel hose but what I'm gonna do next I'm going to take this reco off here when I want bolt this here winter up on ball two on the front I think is probably one more on the back I've also got a lift this petrol tank off this just lifts off here on this slot actually just pulls out with this slot here and then to get that off I've got to take this exhaust guard off and there's two really awkward bolts on the rear there's one there and there's one that's just up there can you just see that one you know talk about making it awkward so I'm going to get this cover off it's a quick reminder as well they all do this out of habit just make sure you've removed the spark plug lead as well do this for every repair just sort of no nasty accidents going up and I must say that on the video because I still see people doing this that don't remove it only takes a second to remove it so let me just start by I'm doing a couple of these parts on this recoil these are easy enough to do by hand to do some sockets that fit that little impact so just be playing around for a few minutes just seeing what fits and what doesn't there's actually a ball the whole bolt missing here at the front by the exhaust cap goes on so this is had a real good play around with it someone's had a real good mess around in here and you know this machines actually been played about with before which is always gonna be fun detecting these paths are we in at the front I am the realest idea but I'll just want to show these petrol tank this actually just lifts off you see they're just slides off I can get to these Pat's on the back that's all around there those like a 10 mil so I've got a 10 mil socket and we'll try and take that one off there it's all good following it I don't mind doing this right you know it's just not the best lawnmower I like showing sure in these videos I'd film analysis it's helpful to a lot of people I get a lot of good comments you know not all sound good but most of the sound good you can't win at marketing so I'll do my best and a lot of people mother to come say engine number one but these have been quite popular apart from the fiddly side if I'm doing everything on these llamas I actually really quite like them because they always think that the room well when you actually get them running helps take the run really well quite even in fact I was quite surprised outside when this one didn't run for very long and then stopped but there's all sorts going on with this as I said it's been tampered with a lot so it's almost designed like not to be played with you know everything you try and do really doesn't work all right now I bet you know how to get that off it still comes off I just come off that's great because the last one out of these was actually bolted through this exhaust Scout as well in fact probably was where that ball missing at the front no the next part I've got to get off is this exhaust gap when I can get this exhaust cut off I can get this exhaust off itself and then I can get to the balls one here and one at the back and actually take off this carburetor everything seems to be a different size as well nothing's got the same sized bolts or either so just take that one off I really should get some smaller sockets that they're gonna fit that in padua that I can use this for all these types of little jobs that's what boys I'm not spending ages I'm doing these little parts by hand as I'm doing now so I have a lot and see what we can find for that I probably just need to get a smaller fitting so all the way existing something to spit on so that's something the way sometimes these exhausts of a little tap on that knees bending back to get to these bolts here and this one doesn't have it on but I'm not sure it's because someone's already taking it off and now they play with it already the normally have one on a few does just bend it out of the way get you socket on and you just don't do these two bolts and you can remove this exhaust to use this now I'm going to do is use this tip of all these bolts off this exhaust here you can see just how much time that saves if I can get every fitting to do that all the way around this long walk and certainly have these stripped down in no time at all if you've got to this video through the article on the website this actual video is part of the article on the website I just want to show these two parts here for anyone who's come to it through the article because these are the two parts you can't normally get to with this exhaust gap in the way normally got a fiddle around through this exhaust gap to all these little gaps to get it off it depends oh it's bolted together but sometimes you need to just put a socket on through the gap for example put this actual socket on through the gap on its own and then push this part through the guard onto the socket guess a lot of the times you can't get through the actual gap with the socket in in place but luckily we've taking it off on this one and I can get to these two parts here and I can just undo them now this is an occasion where this impact Drive all coming really handy because I can actually get these undone and what I've done is just put the simple it's in here and the fourth loosened off really nicely I can actually get in and take these two parts off I couldn't do that with a normal screwdriver and if you look there there's actually not much of a gap there's not enough there to get you socket around and actually access that so you've kind of really got to get a spanner on from one side and this side as well let's young got a lot of room to access are you've got to get it off using this cross head so every one of these tools is really handy so just backing out the rest of the way now it's luck there's a normal screwdriver keep all these paths in it so normally use the magnetic travel to be honest it's full of stuff and I'm not sure why any type of soil I think it's one of those go-to places just to put something now so I really need to clean that out put a few parts away and then we can see exactly what we're doing so with that part removed you can see everything starts to drop down and I'm gonna film all these linkages appear before I go any further there's a really simple linkage configuration with these to come so long as you can see here they're just one that attaches here and then you've got these governor round here see how the buffer touch at the top if you're watching this video it's because you've taken them off not soaking photographs and you can't remember whether go back so this spring attaches at the top only two linkages one spring and that's it that's all you need what I want to do now is I'm just gonna bolt this calibrator from here I can actually get to this which is it virtually impossible to get unless you strip everything down so I'm just gonna undo those two parts I'm gonna unhook these linkages here and when we remove this cab racer from this lawnmower so to help myself a baby I've just put that top bolt back in there just to keep everything up because once these calibrator starts to go on an angle you start to get fuel coming out of them what I need to do now is just get some pliers on here how'd this fuel line here I'm not sure if you can see in there and they slide this down the fuel line I'm gonna clamp this fuel line up I'm not sure the right fuel line anyway so messes this machine to be honest and I've gotta say while I'm filming this for all these reasons you've seen now this is why I recommend starting with the Briggs & Stratton 35 classic engine because it's so much simpler you can imagine trying to start one of these you'd never get anywhere repairing for a profit I mean those Briggs are brilliant you can take the whole cabin tank off using two bolts a more linkage and that's everything off so that's enough off my soapbox you can see my reasoning behind that can't you so I'm gonna pull this fuel line off now and I've got a bolt ready here you can see this bottom I'm gonna do is I'm gonna push this into the end of this fuel line once I've going off so I'm just gonna use a pair of mole grips they always do this probably a better way of doing it and they all say that I'm just gonna pull this off here I'm gonna get this ball here and I'm gonna screw this into the end of you to stop finish any spillage you can see just screw that in and what I'm gonna do next is just take this out as a whole piece I'm gonna put this outside even though it's not leaking I just want it out of the way so I'm not breathing in any fumes so that's off and out of the way and I've now got full access and the only fuel I've got left in this is actually in this carburetor here in fact what could probably do further so another look at this here this is bought everyone do this bowl under here and we're gonna see if I can drain the nielsie lot actually be for it at this cow barrister offer so had to do this live no probably showing you and it's all gone perfectly right is they let this not bore that we're getting here I've got these big Duff gloves on again so just get sick of you know that's all for you I'm just not those dirty or anything so you see slinks on it four days after I hit that it really annoys me anyways just one of those things it's really easy to cross thread fees on these two commentators to see there but the fluid ring now we're gonna let that drain out because all that's left in here now is actually what's in this carburetor we'll take all this apart when a services carburetor so you can see exactly what's going on so the next part of this to get full access to this carburetor again you should just take off this top layer here and take that off you know can get to the springs and the linkages I'm probably gonna have to take them off from the back here cuz the spring those right round here I don't alter the spring and rather just hope the link gives a mess with the spring brings a very expensive for most taping long more spring and look on ebay the cheapest warn us about you know half an inch long probably about $4.99 plus postage so I'm going to take that off I'm gonna keep the screws with that plate so I know which ones go back on there put that one so and now I can see these linkages here I'm gonna unhook them from actually from this governor arm here not gonna actually unhook them from here just at the minute okay so he goes the fun part this is the part that when you watch most videos people just yep I've got that on hook now and everything went fine well I'm gonna do it but I love a film in it so you know you'll get to experience what you might experience when you were into doing it yourself so that's all finesse all the way I'm gonna unhook this linkage from the top here it's the top one here and pull that back through check it around if I can it's off bombs off you can see this up on the hook those are on there I'm gonna set this one off I've got it all of the way what I want to do now it's just hold it up to the camera make sure that I know where all these linkages go I'm gonna unhook this one here you can see there so know exactly where it went I've got photographs of it I'm gonna put the linkage in this stuff then way around I'm gonna leave this part connected on here I'm gonna unbolt this carburetor here from the Cintiq I was gonna do that bolt once she's done nicely I'll just do the other one knots undone as well so set that out this whole parts on the thing where you see here how everything's come away although in kitchen absolutely everything so I move all that all the way possible and I've now finally after all that hassle got this cab rater off and into a position where it can strip you down and actually service it so this is a pin this type of llama is a pin to do that's what I have to do every time I want to get this actual carburetor off I've seen people try and take them apart from the bottom and everything but I mean it's looking in a bit of a steer and you can see the actual gasket here as well as sticking out this cow someone's obviously run this into the ground I'm not sure it's going to make a great sale but let's have a bit of fun let's just see what we can do to actually get this real little bit better support I really don't like the look at this this actual bowl gasket here so let's have a look at second that actual ball off there if you cross thread these and that's it and these are really expensive I saw someone looking for of these the other day just the ball I think you're both 30-pound on eBay for a ball or thinking about a cab for about 20 quid anyway I didn't really have their help to tell them as much advice so I'm just gonna have a spot for you take a wild guess that was a stroke a look I don't do that really carefully I'll take that off it's evolved get everything that's coming on for you this looks like it's just been made up with all sorts of old bits I must take that off it's a bit of fuel left in there there's not a lot left that's why I like to dump as much out as I've come and cut the fuel line off saves getting the real nice nice so what I'm gonna do next is I'm gonna remove this retaining pin but I want to show you something in here there's kind of a little bit unique for these to come say carburetors compared to the Honda ones anyway if you look inside here where this men jet is here likes to see there's like a rubber o-ring realness in Ulsan - over here this has actually got a bit perfect if you push these out from the top just to push it down from the top the sometimes one at the top and sometimes there isn't one of the top if you actually ruin this o-ring you know all sorts of problems so you gotta be really careful taking these apart sorts to do this just push this returning pin out here see this little pin retaining pin out right here like this do it with your fingers but if you can't get your fingers on it just pull this pin out and just wiggle this out like that drop in that's what you want a lot so before you take everything apart now is actually held this needle sat in here you want to know if there's a spring in here anything because sometimes you you can set this apart and wonder if this should have been a spring in it so I'm gonna set this up now and I think this just if I remember rightly this just sits together and actually hooks together like that and then just drops out and that's correct this needle should just drop out which your house done like that so that comes out I'm gonna do next is I'm going to take some Calabrian I'm going to spray every single area I can find on this I'm gonna attempt to remove this man jet here as well you can see here this ball here there's a strange setup you've got to make sure everything in these is really clear blow everything out with a compressor or a can of air to stir up you know compressed air if you can't get hold of a compressor make sure everything's clean and tidy every little hole including all these tiny little ones down here and even if you open this up on the back here there's actually even some tiny ones in the back of here as well and make sure everything's really clean and tidy and there's no blockages whatsoever so I'm gonna attempt to take this tube out here they say motion tube just push it down just get yourself an allen key there's no screw on the bottom of these to come say ones you just take another key and just really carefully put this down from the top there is actually a specific two concert carburetor tool that you can use for actually getting this to roll if you just work your way down the allen key sizes like out on here eventually you can push this down to the bottom to a point where been really careful not to damage this ring here you can actually hook this out you know the eventually just feel to wiggle this out just be real care of you see there see that little tube here hello ring Jana quick very careful with that part there drop that in there no I'll just peel to tap our Eagle this shoe rubber I'm just taking my time with this just to make sure I don't damage anything boss often there is another ring at the top like a little o-ring at the top of these characters as well you just got to be real patient with this just do everything you can not to damage anything while he's taking it out you'll see there eventually got that out rushing about want to see what comes out of here with that and there isn't another one attached to this part but I'm not sure if you can see right down this hole here there is actually another one that sits there that doesn't always come out he's probably just about to eat their nuts up nice and level so I'm glad that stayed in that serves me a little job there so I'm going to take anything I can off this carburetor now I'm gonna blow this whole thing through with cows Britt and I'm going to clean it all off of the air compressor as well folks I've got some new calves for a bottle never do I've always used this I would use this stuff this STP cow spray so I'm gonna give that shake and I'm gonna go kind of in everywhere I can get just give this a really good plane out gonna get in everywhere and possibly find there's any screws that come out with caliber exits on anything you do in the fruit just make sure you take them out and blow to everything make sure absolutely everything that's clean including this one here your own but I sure do this screw up to be in for this surprise make sure you get in all these little areas as well because we just never know what you might be little if you've done when you've done the cow breasts as well you want to make sure that these men Jets are really clean you see these tiny little holes here if any of those are blocked this isn't going to run properly so make sure everything's clean and tidy once you've got it all cleaned up with camp spread put it in a separate place just keep it somewhere that's reasonable clean inside then I'm gonna dirt or anything like that normal bench is fairly clean so make sure you do everything it's really important that you get in absolutely everywhere make sure everything's totally clean because there's a lot of these little parts here I actually have like a little hole you can see just in there you don't want any of these to have any blockages at all see how I've got that on the side say Oh actually if you block you off at the end actually comes up these little holes here you can be sure that everything is nice and clean and unobstructed which is exactly what you want so now I've got that done I'm gonna set the air compressor I'm going to try and turn this down in it inks it's all available but I'm just gonna blow through all this I'm gonna prove it carefully and not to remove this little o-ring in here I'm gonna blow through all these parts and make sure everything's dried off and really clean inside so now I've got everything cleaned up from blood I'm gonna do with the year the little part that you can easily lose here this sexual needle here you can just plug that back on there you see no it just hooks back over there make sure everything is really lined up this may take a few girls it's a really fiddly little carburetor to do just try and line everything open it helps if you tip it backwards just it's hid that backwards like that you can actually have a chance of keeping this on this floor while you push this over the top and down here what I want to do next just find the retaining pin which I've got here just push everything back through then you can see there get everything back through that takes a few girls sometimes we want to make sure once you've got this returning pin in the middle as well as you want to make sure of is this actual needle you can actually see it moving up and down not sure if you can see in there it's not really easy to focus in the air but you can see the needles just moving them down a little bit just at the bottom here just under this slot you can see there just peel off my finger there and actually see this actual needles moving them down this mustn't be sticking because if it does when it fills up with fuel it won't shut this needle off here when this floor actually rises up and it was shut off the fuel of a cabaret that floats so that's all back together I want to put all these little bits back together as well this is all clean and tidy and I'm I'm happy that I've done as good a job on that as I could do I'm just looking at this flop bowl gasket it's not really very good it wasn't leaking before I really should replace that what I'm gonna do is just try and pop it on for now and see if we can stop any leaks but that really does want replacing one in the the best of all them and I took that off at the point that out so before I do that I'm gonna put this men jet back inside this carburetor so I'm just gonna fit this o-ring on the bottom of here as it was before make sure that's on I'm gonna put this in the bottom of this carburetor just as you can see there I'm just gonna drop by in let's see if we can get that started off and the easiest way to push that back up there and the correct position is kind of in the back end of a drill bit a nice flat edge and you can push this back where it wants to go and ever since stairs in position now the trick to this part is actually getting this nicely got a drill bit yeah the trickier this is actually getting this to push back into this carburetor all in one piece without this actual Orion coming off so if I take that there and just push it well I'm trying to do is keep up slowly everything together I can see so that's just gone in there but I can actually see that the o-ring is not quite on right so I want to say that out and we must have a few girls at this because it's really important that you get this back together actually you know totally perfectly you can't just leave this you can't just think I'll put it in without it you just walk room right so I want to pop that back out again and it's just a kiss a trial-and-error really and I want to make sure that this is seated correctly and this actual main gets back in here with this all ring all neatly fitted so I'm gonna have to do exactly what I didn't start the beginning just hook this out again and just keep fiddling about and so I can push this whole thing back in in fact I can see I've got that all ring back on there neatly somehow it's got itself back into position there so let's give this another girl so this is ticked to actually got your ring back on e and I've got a slightly bigger drill bit that's it that's just pushed in and the o-rings come in as well so I'm happy with that eventually I got that it's just a little bit of a trial and error with that just to get everything back together properly hopefully they can just about see what I mean about that little black eye ring sitting around the edge of this man jet you must get that in right well this took us a carburetor wall work properly I've just taken a minute to get that gasket as evenly lined up in there as I can it's actually sup a lot better in this actual ball and it was before so make sure I've got everything back together make sure that returning pins in the right position and this needle still moving about nicely I'm gonna put that back on there try and get everything nice and evenly lined up in one go it's just moved above it so this is just going to set me a few minutes I want to make sure that this is really seated well it's nice and tight I'm not gonna have any leaks when I put this back together so just second five minutes just to fit this actual washer on this ball properly I found the best way to do it was actually to put it back in the ball and then tip the whole thing upside down making sure this retaining pin stays in the correct position lining it up really evenly all the way around without trying to push it on yourself then what I did is I pushed this bolt back in and they actually let the ball actually push the washer back together and actually seal this whole unit because it's virtually impossible to try and kind of manipulate this arm until you put the ball in so if you're struggling and the washers come off just put it on first drop it on this actual part inside the ball and then just drop the whole thing together and tighten this up so I'm just going to lift that up and at this stage and I've got this Cabret ER now nicely cleaned out and nicely serviced so I've got this all cleaned off what I need to do next is I want to test this doesn't actually leak they thought putting it back on the smaller because you probably remember just how long it's take me to get all those parts off a little to put this back on and then find out that it leaks then I would have to take all those parts back off again and then actually sort out the problem so one thing to mention as well as earlier on I'm also not just spring up here see this little spring here and this actual other side of it the links on here so she goes in this little slot here I've actually moved that I come understand why this didn't spring back properly this sort of at the end of this spring it come round here self can and machine about with this actually caught it on the microfiber cloth head on the on the bench in there with all the cab parts on so anyone who's lost that little spring there or moved it I've just hooks it in there and the other part of it it just hooks under here this little cutout wonder here everything springs back then it was working before but it was really critical is you can just bring back what like that once again I didn't want to put all this back together and find out what didn't work so well I see a little bit what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna clean this up a bit I'm gonna test this actual cab don't leak and we'll spray this up with some some clean and blow us off with a compressor and I want to take this head off here as well just looking and Eli saying this head gasket looks like it's from you know the eighteen hundred's or something so I'm gonna undo the head but the problem I've got the minute is I've looked on a few sites for the head gasket I'm not exactly sure what type of Tecumseh engine this is I can only presume its advantage all evolved with a 35 on the top seem to be advantage so what we're gonna do I'm gonna clean it up first let's just see if I can find any markings on it this says actually exactly which tape is I'm gonna actually just set this head up well have a look at these vowels in here they're not adjustable on these these aren't no overhead valve Rommels - just flathead engines so without any specialist tools it's really awkward to set these valves unless you want to start grinding stuff down which no one really likes to do so I'm going to test this cab make sure it doesn't leak back connecting it back to the petrol tank but first of all I'm just gonna spray this up with some stuff and then it starts to work and I can blow this off with a compressor so I've just spread that off of it there we'll just leave that but one of the main reasons for buying this little impact drill here as well just to see if it can undo these sort of bolts like this it's just a lot more running away from me it's actually I've done it already that they're just such a lot of time see to get in here do these little jobs so you know five minutes for the normal socket which in a problem but I quite like reinvest in some more profits buck in normally buy myself one or two things a year really just help speed this process up so if you look at that I've got all those on done now I can pull all these out keep them in order I'm going to set this head off this llama as well they're all really loose after it that's exactly what I want it so that's got plenty of power for all the jobs I'm gonna need I'm gonna pull this head off here and when I look at this gasket so they want to put it all back together I think it's only about three pound for a head gasket so we'll take a lot off and then clean it all off the part of the head gas gone but I need to know exactly which one it is so the annuity to do it was to work to undo all this lot I've just done bolt with it all apart from this morning turn the camera back on you can see here the back of the head you see this gasket here some of its kind of missing some of isn't isn't really bad I suppose but it's not really worth not replacing it a second look at that let's just say that off what I need to do is just clean all this off and oddly replacement pads I've said they're only really cheap to get old off I can decarbonize his head I can just take something and make sure all this system is really tidy as well what I'm gonna do now is I'm just going to turn this flywheel II it was up I'm gonna make sure these valves open and close properly and nothing's actually sticking yeah everything looks to removing fine there so I'm happy with that so what I've done here is I've just connected this carburetor back up a little some petrol in his tank and what I'm really looking for you it's making sure was absolutely nothing leaking out here you can see around here there's nothing actually leaking out the bottom as long as it's carburetors level well you don't want to see these loads of drips kind of powering out the back or out of anywhere really but particularly be out the back or at the bottom here I don't see any links at all in that which is great that means I've got that gus key back on okay and nothing sleek you know so as I said I'll just repeat this just for anyone missus don't put this back together until you've done that because it's you know he said good 20 minutes half an hour job to strip it all back down just to get it off and make sure the needle sat right and you've got a gasket on right so make sure you test this before you put it back on particularly on this to come sail on more what be really helpful on one of these is having a fuel tap which is one of those things you get on there the Honda lures which I really like so I'll just clean this head up a bit you can see here just clean this off should be rounded all this and second this old gasket off with a bit away a wall that's on the sim here on this actual head he can see all these bits that come off I'll just clear it on the edge of that was a little bit work to do on that just to make sure it's all really flat clean Italian I'm gonna order a gasket for that I'm gonna put a head gasket I think for the second three pounds I'm gonna do with that as well now see I'm probably not going to make much profit with this llama but I thought it was really worthwhile just filming this video to help anybody out was one of these to come see so I'm kinda doing it for that now really it's never gonna make me much profit in this one but if you just get in started doing this and you do it two or three times the experience you'll get it's just like invaluable you know you can just learn how to do these things and in 20 minutes time and you get another one you'll know exactly what tools you need out to get everything often the order everything's a lot of fun I'll put everything back on so it's really worth investing a little bit of time just playing around with these things even if you're not making any profit right at the beginning so just set this cow beretta off this lawnmower again what I did notice is when I put it on the lawn mower although it didn't leak it didn't prime either I wanted to check it primed and it didn't primal I think it was because of this gasket you can see here just as a temporary measure I've just order one of these I've just bought a big ol ring around this and I'm not trout it yet so what I want to do is just connect you up to this petrol tank here and let the actual fuel throw into her ear just flow down into this cow breast and I'm gonna try it and see if it Prime's again because I need to make absolutely sure that it doesn't leak and also that it does pram before I rebuild this circumcision connected this up now what I'm looking in here you can actually alter this this is like a an adjustment for how much the fuel flaws I know you want your engine to run eventually but if your looking side there hopefully with a Sun you can see that this is actually priming so turn it round this round you can see a little bit better you can see how the fuels pushing up through there there's a lot of it flying out there it's probably too much actually but it is actually priming so I've got a chance of starting this lawnmower when it's rebuilt looks like there's quite a lot coming out there as I say I've altered this gasket so that should be it shortly just a couple of days but for now I won't just bought this back on I just want to see if this actually runs now north cleans care about and doesn't actually stop so I've started rebuilding this now it's it's very fiddly to do is this what you must do is you must get all these linkages actually linked up here to this governor round first then connector to this carburetor this little tap here by the way that bends backwards towards that direction if you like towards the back of the mower you must make sure everything moves freely as well like this does here and then what you've got to do is you've got to bought this carburetor to this path now of course you don't need to put this palm first the easiest way to do this is to hook all these linkages up here and actually connect these two paths up separately and then reball this one back onto the engine but it's really time-consuming secondly a good ten minutes to do that with a little bit of trial and error so make sure everything moves exactly as it should and I just want to show you this little spring here see this little tiny spring that sits on top of here actually hooks there you want to make sure that this tiny little spring here actually hooks under this little insert here and this actually does its job when the camera is off the machine you must make sure this actually opens and closes which it does I've just refitted this plate here in the next job I've got is just to put this air filter box back on if you remember it just went on the back of here they actually bolts through the back of there off the actual back of the cameras and sits in here just like that and then the recoil cover just fits back on top and then after I've got the recoil cover on of course I can actually fit this petrol tank which if I remind you they're just slides back on the back of this recoil cover the cast nearly forgot don't forget this exhaust as well so once you get this air filter box in place these are a pen bother we can get a little small one that just push it on the back of this cap you can actually look in it and see if it's prime and these are a bit of a pair these are like coughing style filters if you drop that there you can actually see you must remember to connect this over the back sorry taking everything up so it's going to push that back in there in a minute I'm going to tighten these two screws up one here and one on the back so that's all back together now and up this illustrates pretty well why I absolutely made sure that this carburetor wasn't leaking it was priming before putting butts together because it's just so time-consuming earlier so I'm gonna put this recall cover on I've actually added a recon a secondhand recoil for you bear for this we've got this recoil back on and then I can hang this petrol tank back in here wait for this recalls coming off just waiting in the post as well for this gaskets to come for this head gasket as well so just putting this back together you must make sure that this recall cover just fits around here this just pushes on there that provides air into the actual engine there through this air filter box I've just bought with these back on here at the back and what I want to show now is just this petrol tank it just pushes back on you just get it there and drop it down it's just pushes back on and the top like that that Psalms and that's the whole side of this back together just got this air filter put back on this cover but I've got a cab richer a nice cleaning service I'm not it's not leaking and I know it prime so I can't put the exhaust gas back on just yet because some ways it's a head gasket as I've said so for now I'm just going to tidy up a little bit when I get these parts I'll come back in operations gasket it's just arrived here and this head gasket in this bowl just get as well so let's just go in here and let's just drag this more round I see if this gasket fits a little bit small but I'm sure it will be right let's just throw this more out via let's see if we can bolt we said Gaston calm and let's play this more the recoil by the way so far it's made me Bucky on my camera ran out so I think I've just filmed you just put the bolts through you basically that's all you do just bolt it back omble that salt on that was 12 pounds offer you beer that second number don't look really look like he's ever been used so anyway let's get this out when I put this head cast you're on okay so um looks like I've ordered the right part anyway and see how all this lines up but sir this next one's going to read take this recoil cover off again it's only a couple of bolts I'll drop this petrol tank I thought it took me a minute and then we'll refit this gasket so got everything lined up I've just put a couple of bolts and here you can see this new gasket is just set on there it's going to push this on I'm going to lightly put all these blocks back in they're all the same length and I'm gonna tighten these up with this new impact tool I've got and that should only set me a second and hopefully I'll get to try this in a minute but you can see as I've mentioned a few turns it's it's quite a long time to take everything off these mowers and test them so you've kind of got to get it right first time really before you rebuild everything and test it so I'm gonna put these bolts back in as I've said and we'll test this lawnmower so that took me no time all using this little rail b1 plus and C just tightening so what I like to do is just make sure everything looks like it's set nice and neat nothing slips he'll position all the boat's gone through everywhere and I'm happy with that so let's pull this recall cover back on let's try this more right so this is a fun bit this is a bit way join me we'll see if this runs and I just pull this back plug in here a new one in and I put this three Cal cover on everything back together especially a bolt missing from the front there but one day it's not quite right but I want to try this and I'll do this a lot more videos now we're gonna do this live I'm going to see these definitely runs I'll just grab this tripod cuz I really don't want to rebuild this again it's already cost me 15 pounds of a and 15 pounds of parts is it on sir anything could happen when I might just have to sit under the bottom of the carburetor there's actually an adjustment screw I might have to set well let's see if we can get this running first off well a pram is a few times in it as well nothing that no sign of white girls I really want this to work they're really going to redo this not lowly crimes so let's have a look round to see what we can do to solve this you've got no signs of life at all like that it's normally yet old this llamas not getting spark so I'm just wondering what's the more fuel in there to make sure it was enough finish memory for over-tightening sparkplug yeah not exactly sure that I'm getting spark yet so I will have to test that this sometimes if you tighten these in too far you've actually been the CEO and you actually get a spark jumping across so and if I just knock something on the ignition coil you just seem like there's no signs of life whatsoever unless usually just a bit not sparking properly so I also take a look in here as well if this has ever been on the interview it's not connected right that won't start so these are the things I do and always a lot a bit more fuel in it to make sure it's not that and I would put another plug in and make sure it's not bent also this adjustment screw on the bottom this carburetor I'll back that out of it as well so let's see what we get no we've tried those things so I'm still having trouble with this mower off trailer definitely got sparks I've tested this it's definitely getting fuel through it to it as well and I know it did start before but one thing only to do just follow I've got everything stripped down I wanted to see if this little Ryobi one impact was strong enough to set this actual top ball off gonna check the keyway on this so we'll try it now something and a robo camera there let's see if it can do the job yeah no problems that's really handy that says we get me a legit one out that's Q way hey see this key were in here I've never seen one like that before that looks badly smashed you see the badly smashed are a different design to the Briggs ones I'm guessing that's plus badly smashed can you see there that should all I know if it shouldn't be over this set it should all be lined up there so we'll set this flywheel off and I'm going to put another key in here so this video is really turning out to be a bit of an in-depth on and they said we'll set this flywheel off now with a flywheel puller and I'm gonna actually just check this key were and put another key in there because if the timings out it'll spark at the wrong time and it did start and run for a bit this more but then it did die as well so let's see what we get when we set this flywheel off it's quite big as well I'm not sure if this flyer was either it supposed to have this keen or if it's supposed to a normal female either way I think he's probably right if I'm honest with you because I've never seen one of smashed is that before I'm not slicing this I'm just going to get a normal key way everyone watching this so does this a lot of a thinking I'll just put in the comments I've seen these loads of times but these Tecumseh ones I've never really taken about this much before I didn't realise and if you had a different key way on or not so not sure if that's been smashed it looks much much to me then I'm gonna go get another key let's try and see if it fits so you have not seen that before this is it correct key where these two come sail are more solid it really was surfer monasteries are just looking eBay tape to come say Kiwi and see what they look like well that's sir it's either a long temperatures I've seen that or I've not seen it at all if I'm honest with you so it is right and everything's as it should be so I'm gonna slide that back in there before I lose it you can see how it all lines up there so I'm happy that that's okay we'll put the flywheel back on while I'm here this is the kill switch as well for these to come say so if you've got a lot more windows back and you're blaming the ignition coil from here to here there's chance it could be this wire that as a brick in it although well mr. come say well it's quite a thick wire is that so you might just want to check these connections as well so I'm gonna drop the flywheel back on now and I'll give this another girl so just before I pull that on I just want to show you how this kill switch works on this second one so long we see the offer at the sifter over here actually like a little wire obviously pushes the way you see the way right in the middle there it pushes that away man actually activates this so you can get spark del to the plug if that don't work right you what gets any spark down to this spark plug and no man's working alright cause I've already tested it for spark right so I've refitted this flywheel here just a note on that to tell you the handle look because the brick actually works from the inside to the outside on this flywheel make sure you get the key way back in the right way in this flywheel all drop on but what I've done is put the head back on what I want to do is I want to make sure that this heads not on too tight you know actually these valves are still moving inside because it's the slightly wrong gasket it doesn't actually fasten up if it's actually too tight I could actually stop these valves from moving so what I've done is I've sickness little my eyes are kind of trapdoor off you can see in there I want to do is I'm just going to turn this flywheel here you can see here the valves want to make sure that the both moving everything's working as it should so you can see there from rotor in it they're pushing out and everything's working as it should because sometimes you do get this you'll get it where the vowel to what move properly I can see everything is moving properly there so I'm happy that the heads on right I'm happy that it's all tightened up evenly and it's not stopping these valves from moving and now I've got fuel because I primed it and I've watched it all basically power out of here and I know I've got us back so I'm not 100% sure just at the minute why this lawnmower what runs so let's put the recoil cover back on let's try it again so I'm gonna do a few things I've just taken the exhaust off this which might sound stupid but I've done this before on one of these it actually helps you failure I don't know why there's certainly exhaust off I'm just going to try and start this up it'll be lovely if it does anything but see if it fails what it's a fire a little bit that's really load of gospel at least a note does fire up so I'm not sure why doesn't with the exhaust on well let's try it again with the exhaust on this is the reason if you look on the website repeal almost profit this is why always recommends time with a Briggs well I have to say that this has been a pig a little bit of fuel dripping out they you do get this stuff on to commerce it's it's very strange it does happen a lot actually on these cabs there's nothing leaking but I want to swap that actual gas key over check this ball off I'm gonna swap that over but what was it just in there I'm actually here was this screw under here this actually sets the speed so you can almost set that and I just back that out a couple of turns just count as a standard setting but I've turn it all the way in and back to you off a couple turns I think you should push the bucket off one and a half off two turns eventually I've got this lawnmower running so what I need to do now is just let it cool down a few times a few times a few times and chance that hail from cold and make sure it starts to block here from curl but finally I've avenged I got this one more serviced and that's been an absolute fear I have to say so if you're looking to start repairing long loss of profit I'll give you a huge but if advice do not start with the Tacoma say right however for a cup of tea so I can't lie this is a compass has been a real pain to get sorted out but eventually I've got their diet to get beat and I've eventually got this thing running perfect it's starting up nicely as well now I've changed the oil shouting to blend and all that stuff as well camera so it's all done and ready to go it's not gonna be any profit in this I want the thought for me I've spent like 15 pounds buying at 15 pound on parts but I wanted to get to the end of this video and just show you that you can do this and if you did this sort of four or five times you'd have one of these stripped down a service probably in about an hour just less than an hour all the thought but not the idea long want to start on but if you've got to the end this video and you've washed it all and well done because it's obviously been a long one if I have out you about teaching the out to service II saw a lawn mowers up if you do me a massive favour and just visit my new website which is repair lawn mods for profit calm there's a link in the description to an actual article I've just written all on these to come say engines so all the specifications will be on there for everything you'll need so if you're subscribed already please be sure to do so thanks very much for watching I'll see you again next time you
