How To See If Message Was Read On Android!

so he might be trying to figure out how you can basically see if a message was read on Google messages or on your Android phone now this is pretty basic but you will have to make sure that your cell plan and your phone supports RCS so on the recent phones like the Google pixels and the Samsung Galaxies you should be good to go if your phone's on like Android 13 or newer Android 12 or even 11 newer so what you want to start off by doing is you want to make your way over to your Google messages application now you may be able to do this in other apps too but we're going to do this doing this strictly within Google messages now when we come here what we want to do is we want to go ahead and make our way over two hours so when we're here what we want to do is we want to click on the top right corner and I want to go and click on message settings which is right there now when we do that all we're going to want to do is we want to go and click on chat features which is right not that one which is right up here now for me you can see it's not available because I don't have a SIM card in this phone however if we take a look at this beautiful article from Android police they do showcase exactly what's basically going to happen so once we click on chat features you'll be able to come into this next panel what you want to do where it says send read receipts you want this basically to be enabled if this is disabled well then that's not really going to do you much favors so you want to go and make sure this is enabled and then what you're going to see is that once if the other people have it enabled and all that other stuff well you'll see that the messages will then be able to be seen you'll basically see this thing that says delivered but then if the message is read you basically see that the message will then be read so and that is basically how it's done it's a pretty basic process like it doesn't really take too much crazy amounts of time but that is basically how it's done so it can be kind of annoying because if you're texting somebody who's like on iMessage or something you may not be able to see send sent or delivered you know kind of messages but this is the alternative you have and I do think it's a pretty decent option that you have for the most part so in terms of that that kind of covers it up there if you have any other thoughts or questions let me know in the comment section below hit the like button now me so much but definitely hit that subscribe button more importantly with everything else I love every single one of you guys hopefully I'll catch you guys in the next video peace out change [Music]
