hello I wanted to take a minute to explain how to save a powershell script to your desktop I was working away and found a really good script for closing outlook and adding the Microsoft teams that in as I had a problem with that and I found that once I had the script in place I could only save it as a text file which was a bit of a bummer and I wanted to save it as PowerShell so to get that started go ahead and open PowerShell ice as administrator you can do file new script or you can open a new script pane I prefer the top to bottom look but for the purpose of this exercise I will generate a real simple PowerShell script to create a file on the desktop and here you can use dollar User Profile or C : users etc to fill in the path and the filename that you want to use and once you know that script is working go ahead and add txt to make a text file and we're ready to save our script and now that we have the white pane script pane we can save as and we can call this whatever we like and then once it's saved off we can deploy it be a thumb drive network drive cloud share something of that nature share point and get it out there as you have a more complex script will run with PowerShell see it create the file we know it's in working order so yeah thanks for watching and feel free to comment on my video I like to hear from you and if you have any questions let me know I look forward to learning more about PowerShell and make it more videos thanks for watching take care
