you might have to reset your Visual Studio code to solve few issues now in this video I'll show you how to reset Visual Studio code by opening Visual Studio code and even if you cannot open Visual Studio code I'll show you how to do it okay so first let's see how we can do it within Visual Studio code now open your Vis Studio code and click on this settings icon here and click on settings now click on this file L icon here and you will see all your user settings here now to reset everything you can just remove this and just keep these two curly bres here make sure you don't remove this because this is a Json file it will need this and save this now all your settings are removed now you can restart Visual Studio code and all your user settings will be gone now another method to do this is just press control shift p and search for open settings now there are a bunch of settings here what you need to choose is this preferences open user settings Json this one click on this and the same file will open and you can remove everything as we have done already now for some reason if you cannot open Visual Studio code what you can do is you can directly change the file where this is saved press Windows R and directly go to this settings. Json file so it is stored in user profile SLA data slash roaming slash finally our code sluser now hit okay and this directory is open now this is the file right click on it click on open with and click on under app and let's say we want to open it using no notepad now this is the file but we have already removed everything so there is only CES now if you have some here you can just remove those and save the file and open your Visual Studio code and your Visual Studio Cod will be reset
