How to Reset Car Window

all right today I am going to show you how to reset your Windows in your car now sometimes if your battery is being replaced or some mechanical work is being done uh your windows will need to be reset because they will not work okay with the automatic feature they just will not work but I'm going to show you how to fix that problem but before we get started could you give me a thumbs up as well as subscribe to my channel I'll appreciate it tremendously all right so let's get started like I said your windows may become out of whack after you had some mechanical work done to your car or your battery has been replaced and so you want to get the automatic feature working back on your windows again but uh you're gonna have to go through process and I'm going to take you through that so right now I'm currently sitting behind the steering wheel of my vehicle the vehicle is turned off now I want to turn it on now when I say I'm going to turn it on I do not want to start the engine I want to take it to the Run mode and that run mode okay so I am in a push start vehicle so what I'll do is I'll just press the start button uh but I won't uh start the engine so I'm not going to put my foot on the brake when I press this button right here now if you have a key that you put inside of your vehicle if you have an actual physical key that you put inside the ignition straight from the kitchen all right uh you're going to want to not turn the key all the way to turn it uh your vehicle on you just want to turn it just into the Run position but do not start your engine alright so this is what I'm gonna do I'm going to press start but I'm not going to start the engine so my foot is not on the brake and I'm just going to come up here and I'm just going to press this and it is in the Run position do you see this if you have push start you want it in the Run position the engine is not on so once I have it in this I'm going to go over here to the window controls and whichever window that needs to be reset maybe all of them need to you're just going to have to go through them one by one so I'm going to reset the driver's side window and so what I'm going to do is I'm going to come over here and I am going to pull up on it because I want the window to be closed all the way so I'm going to pull up on it and when I pull up on it once it closes I'm going to hold it for five seconds once it's up so watch this so I'm going to pull it I'm gonna push it down a little bit just to show you and then I'm going to pull it up for it to close and I'm going to wait five seconds one one thousand two one thousand three one thousand four one thousand five one thousand and so after five seconds I'm going to go ahead and lower it all the way down and I'm gonna keep my finger on the button so I'm going to lower it all the way down like this you see it's all the way down and once it's down my finger is still on the button and I'm gonna hold it for five seconds one one thousand two one thousand three one thousand four one thousand five one thousand and after after uh the five seconds I'm going to roll it all the way up again and I'm just gonna have my finger up here like this and roll it all the way up and the window should be reset by now all right so it now it's reset and the automatic feature works right here again all right so that's how you reset your Windows on your vehicle I hope this video was helpful thanks a lot for watching
