How to Render a Video in Cinema 4D lite

hey guys i just wanted to quickly show you how to render out a video in cinema 4d lite so we're going to start by coming up to this cog icon clicking that that will bring up our render settings this is where you can change the dimensions of the video we can also select how much of the video will be exported current frame all frames or preview range i keep it on preview range as in whatever's selected down here will be exported the big difference between cinema 4d and cinema 4d lite is that everything in light has to be exported through after effects so always make sure that you save to see updates in after effects so save this project and then jump over to after effects and if you haven't already imported you can just go file import file and find that file you just saved that will import the cinema 4d file into a new composition as well as load the cineware if you already had that imported you can also just drag this file onto a new composition and that'll do the same thing so from here we've got a few different options for the render settings we can play back at viewport draft in a low quality and that will give us our fastest playback or we can change this to current and up the quality in after effects to full and this will give us our final result you can then export this like any other after effects file by going to file export add to render queue and rendering out from here i hope that quick fix worked for you let me know in the comments and if you're just getting started with cinema 4d lite and want to start learning the fundamentals i've got a free course over on my website there's a link in the description below
