How To Remove Someone From Family Sharing If Under 13

here's how to remove someone from Family Sharing if they're under 13. now if you have family sharing turned on and you have an account with a child maybe they're 12 or under somebody that's under 13. you need to go through certain steps if you want to remove them so let's hop into your settings here and tap on family you can see I don't have any children on here but if you did you could tap on it and it will not give you the ability to just remove that account that's because basically they're under age which means they cannot have a solo Apple idea account it has to be associated with a family so you have two different options one is you can transfer it to a different family plan or a different Family Sharing for an Apple ID so to do that basically you're going to set up a family sharing on another iPhone another Apple ID and you're going to invite that child's account to that plan and basically it'll pull it from your plan over to the other one or another option you have is you can delete that Apple ID for that child that's under 13. so let's go into Safari here it says delete child's account children under 13 can be removed from a family group instead you have to delete it or basically create a new account and transfer so if you wanted to delete it you can always hit this learn how to delete a child's Apple ID ID and this will take you to another support page basically it'll walk you through a bunch of different stuff but the key here is to delete it you need to go to privacy.apple.com so let's go there and basically It'll ask you to log in to that Apple ID the child's Apple ID you can go through all of this different stuff but at the very bottom you can see request to delete your account just tap on that and it will delete that child's account and essentially remove it from your family sharing hope this helps you have any questions on that leave them in the comments down below and I'll catch you on the next one
