How To Remove A Door Knob Without Visible Screws

yes so today I wanted to make a video to show you this ugly old doorknob and one that doesn't have screws in it and I want to show you how to remove it it's on a steel door like this this might be a little different than your typical setup but I want to show you how to remove it if you don't have screws in it to take it out like this particular one I can't even tell you what brand it is it has a gene on it it's an old one it's been on for a long time the process might be quite similar to the one that you're doing right on the side there somebody's been pushing on it before because it's kind of odd around what I'm gonna do is take a nail and just push it in the hole right there and then pull out on the knob that releases it so yeah then hopefully you can see this okay I just use a nail like this stick it in here wiggle the knob and it pops right on this side we're gonna stick a flat screwdriver in here and pry this apart there's a little spring right here that holds tension on it to keep it on this I mean you stick this in here pry that out and then you have to turn it sometimes it'll come right out and you can see your screws are exposed right there apologize for the bad lighting in this chop here they're replacing this door on I'll try to show you to you the best I can so next take - two toed shoes out of this and the two Phillips screws out of this then this guy will just come right off four there that'll slide out and that'll come out so there you have it that's how you take apart enough that has no screws visible alright thanks for watching guys
