How to register Fortigate Firewall License ? | Step by Step.

hello everyone this is eminent officer welcome back to tech enthusiast channel i hope all of you are doing well in my today's video i'm gonna show you how can you activate your firewall licensing or how can you um enable all of your uh viral subscription okay as you can see uh in my current firmware uh in my current firewall uh there is no subscription so this is one of the new firewall which is which is uh going to be implemented in one of our division very soon that's why i need to activate its licensing and firmware upgradation and much more so at first i'm gonna show you what is the current scenario of my firewall what is the subscription subscription status etc as you can see uh fiverr and general updates updates already expired intuition prevention already expired that means i already bought a trial subscription which is for one month this is already and that's why it shows the license is expired it doesn't mean uh it's already have a headed subscription okay so as you can see antivirus no license outbreak outbreak prevention also not licensed and muscular you can also see i'm not able to reach 40 filtering service services like web filtering and nds file if you don't have any subscription to fatigue then you cannot be able to reach this services okay this is one of the symptom that your firewall is not licensed okay so what should you do to do licensing of your firewall to another licensing at first you need to have a account and fortinet support or i will be logged in in my fortinet support account as you can see the website is support.fortinet.com so here obvious firewall is going to show which is already added as you can see i already have four firewalls in which already installed in four different places okay today i'm going to work on this firewall okay this is the new firewall so what i need to do to enable viral subscription at first i need a subscription or license which is already provided by our vendors from where we got our firewall you can get the license over there okay so i already get a license from my vendor as you can see here is the licenser status and here the service is going to activate after enable uh firewall subscription or activate firewall subscription here you can see three years coverage for 48 hardware advance okay for and general updates enhanced support 24x7 telephone support 24x7 advanced mail mail protection next generation firewall licensing by filtering and ntsp so after i successfully enable my licensing so all of the subscription is going to be activated in our file so to enable viral subscription i need this contract registration code which is provided by our firewall vendors so to activate your subscription or to register your product at first you need to go asset then register or activate then you have to put here the registration code okay here it is then you have to select the product will be used by a non-government user then you have to select next then you have to select your product or you can enter your product serial number here i already added my product okay then i select it after selecting you can see my serial number automatically added okay then [Music] i have to select next [Music] then it will show the license agreement okay i have to accept the agreement okay then select next here is the verification that means uh what is the services is going to be activate what is the what types of features uh subscription is going to be enabled here i'm going to take an screenshot of this because it's necessary for me so i'm gonna review uh what types of license is activating here you can see hardware okay which is expired date is 2030 updates 2013 enhanced support 2030 technical support 2030 advanced manual protection 2030 next generation firewall also 2030 filtering i think it seems everything is okay according to my firewall subscription which is provided by my vendors okay so i can confirm this after that it is finally going to be activate the license on this firewall here is the confirmation again i'm gonna take another screenshot of [Music] this [Music] okay now finally i'm gonna click on finish yes so [Music] what times it will take to activate the subscription basically it's take four hours to more okay so after four hours uh all of my firewall subscription is going to be updated subscription licenses is going to be updated so thank you for watching this video and don't forget to subscribe this channel and hit the bell button if you don't want to miss my upcoming videos okay goodbye
