How to Quickly Check the Crash Log on Windows 11

hey everyone Edward here at Windows report and today I'm gonna show you how to quickly check the crash logs on windows 11. so in order to do this press the Windows button then simply type Event Viewer now click on Event Viewer from the search results and In the Event Viewer window make sure to expand Windows logs and you will see that you have five new categories application security setup system and forwarded events now in here you can click on any of these logs to check the information logs and potential errors make sure to expand the window so you have more space actually read the information and if you want to go further with this just click on each log and you will get details of course if you expand once again this window because the things are kind of crammed up in here you have two tabs General and then you have details and you can find out more about the error and information that can help you to fix the error that you're dealing with now for example if you want to filter the error logs you can click on one of the main categories and then on the right side you have an option called filter so click on it and the next thing you can do is click on the drop down menu next to lock in here you can check all the logs from the last hour 12 hours and depending on how much you want to go let's say last hour and then you can tick the box next to the event level if you want to search for a specific error let's just tick the box next to error and critical and then finalize by clicking on OK this is a basic search and in our case we have no errors and no critical problems but let's say we go more than last hour maybe last seven days maybe select last 7 days so let's click on OK and you will see that things will show up in here which can be quite critical or which can be very useful for you to find out to find out whatever works wrong on your PC this is how you quickly check the crash log on Windows 11. super simple isn't it of course if you enjoyed this video and need help to make sure to hit the like button and subscribe to our channel for more quality content thanks for watching
