How to print a negative using a laser printer

hi I'm selling from photo centric one of the questions I've been asked is how to print a good negative you can use an inkjet printer or a laser printer but not all laser printers will print black enough if you're using an e jet printer we recommend our image black inkjet film if you're using a laser printer we recommend image of that laser film we're going to actually use the HP 1022 laser printer HP's are tend to work well in our experience so let me show you how to print using the 1022 okay the first thing we need to do before we print on a laser printer is going to our printer section on our control panel and find the printer so in this case the 10/22 I'm going to right click and go into the printer properties section along the top we have configure and in configure we have our print density and you can see that I've set that at five and that's what you need to do to make sure we print as black as we can okay going back to general click on preferences and check that your paper is set to vellum you have lots of different options there that vellum will give you the best result okay and okay by doing this it should set your preferences so that they're the same every time you print from that printer but we can double check so let's do file print so I want my 10:22 and I'm just going to go into my printer properties there yeah I just double check that I'm on that one okay now put my film in I can print on either side of the laser film and print now you'll notice when this comes out that it won't look very black so we're going to have to make it darker it does work with the 10 20 to the 10 20 the 20 55 if you're not sure take a look at our website WWE central UK where there is lots of advice on different printers and how to get them to print black enough so how do we get this black oh we have two options we can use a toner density spray this is a Folex one there's a spray way one in America on those spray way is quite easy to get hold of but I think Michaels stock it or you can wipe with white spirit and then heat it and that will help it to a darker so it's easier to use the spring so I'm just going to shake the camera little and spray but it needs to dry I've usually bit too much though but as it dries it will get darker and then we'll be able to use the negative
