How To Play Xenoverse 2 Mods ONLINE with Friends (LEGALLY)

so one of the most common questions I get whenever I do Xenoverse mod videos is rhyme how do you play this game online I thought it's impossible it's not it's actually very possible however there's a couple rules you have to follow and if you don't do it correctly everything's gonna get messed up I'm actually not going to teach you how to install mods in this video just because there's a bunch of other videos out there that exist it's a whole nother process I'm just gonna tell you what you have to do in order to play these mods with your friends so first you have to go learn how to set mods up number one and two come back over here and I'll tell you exactly what you have to do in order to play with your friends so first things first you're gonna boot up the single Lobby and do not go to multi Lobby and also if you can't tell this is PC only so if you're on Xbox and Playstation sorry but this is just a PC thing all right so step one you literally have to install the exact same mod as your friend so for example let's say I want to play a beast go on that means I'm downloading Beast Gohan I'm installing Beast go on and I tell my friend to download Beast go on and also install Beast Gohan that's very very important if you do something out of order or if you have something installed that your friend doesn't have installed the entire mod will break and your game will probably crash for example in this situation I have two mods installed I have Dragon Ball Xenoverse remap installed as well as Beast guard which is a separate character because that character is not available in revamp so we did here is is I installed revamp first and then I installed Beast go on and I told my friend to do the exact same thing this part is the most important part if you install Beast go on first and then revamp you likely will have issues what I try to usually do is I try to keep it simple so we try not to have too many mods installed because if you do too much something's going to go wrong somewhere so in my case I literally only have revamp installed and beats Gohan but let's say you want to add more stuff on for example let's say you want to add hand kill and Squidward and you want to just get really really goofy with it but you have to download everything in the exact same order as your friend for example let's say I have remap installed followed by beasts go on and killing Squidward your friends do the exact same thing they have to install remand first beasts go on and kill and then Squidward the reason being because when you load up in the game against somebody in Xenoverse the game I guess matches what your character slot looks like compared to theirs and if something seems off there's gonna be a decent so for example in this situation as you can see I picked Squidward against Hank Hill but because my friend had another character installed it appeared he was fighting Natsu on top of that because the Natsu mod that he had installed had different movesets whenever I did a Super Attack it was completely decent and something else happened on their screen again the most important thing you have to do with these mod is install them with your friends with the exact same order everything included and when I say everything I mean literally everything down to a single accessory basically the rule of thumb is if you download a mod or any addition to the game you tell your friends to do the exact same thing that's what I like to keep it simple and play revamp mostly and just revamp because that's one single mod that adds so much content to the game and doesn't really require any more additional stuff added but if you want to add these go out for example who's not actually added in remap yet then he'd simply just download remamp you download Beast Gohan let your friends with dollar revamp that one Beast Gohan and you should be good to go as you can see in the background over here my friend chose a character that I didn't have installed in the game really crashed [Music] pretty much if you're gonna download mods and you wanna play your friends keep the mods exact same as your friends and you should be good to go now I'm probably getting a bunch of questions like how do you install mods all that good stuff there's literally millions of videos out there that explain it it's kind of funny because a lot of those videos only tell you how to install mods but not how to play with your friends and this is probably one of the most important aspect look I love boring over time but being able to download these amazing new mods that add all these characters that are not in the game yet especially characters like beasts go on an orange Piccolo and being able to play against friends is fire I highly recommend it so yeah as a Kickstarter just go download revamp right away and tell your friends do the same and then just enjoy a new experience of the game until the next DLC pack comes out whenever they release that so yeah it's pretty simple it's very doable to stay away from going to multi lobbies stay away into trying to go into random rank Play It's Gonna Break the game's gonna crash you're your friend dollars map one as well if you download map two and your friend goes map two you download accessory for hits outfit your friend does the same same order is the most important aspect
