are you getting sent back to the lobby more often than you'd like do you want to start getting high kill games in topple even the sweatiest of players well today we're going to teach you how to fight like a pro learn how they pull off the sickest Peaks fight up close or even win fights Under Pressure so what do you need to master combat in fortnite well you need a good understanding of editing techniques understanding how Peaks can both protect and enable successful hits and you need to be able to keep cool Under Pressure seriously you can know how to fight but if you don't push yourself to go through with your place you're gonna choke every time here's a list of goals to keep you on track you should be able to understand the difference between fighting low ground and fighting High Ground utilize Peaks effectively pressure and apply pressure in close quarters fights track Target and beam opponents from long range and follow through with plays one of the most important elements that ties this all together is aim because let's face it if you don't have proper aim you won't be able to pull off a peak shot when you have less than a second to react you'll also miss out on ending easy fights that wind up getting dragged out until you get third party so click on the link below and check out our in-depth aim guide learn the aiming skills you need to pull off the tricks you'll be learning here if you want to play like the pros learning to utilize your Peaks should be your number one priority this means learning your angles how they protect you and how to combine them with your movement one of the most basic beaks to understand is right hand Peaks but it pretty much teaches you everything you need to get started stand behind a wall where your opponent is on the other side and you should be able to get your crosshairs on your opponent if you stand on edge like this see how you can land shots but your opponent can't unless they move this is called picker's advantage and it's a fundamental rule that applies to any Peak edit no matter how complex you can also adjust these angles when you move forwards and backwards moving closer protects you more while moving backwards gives you a better angle to shoot your opponent we'll show you more examples of Peaks throughout the video and how they apply in different scenarios but before we do that here's a secret that the pros won't tell you and it'll change how you tackle some of the most challenging Peaks the size of an opening does not affect if you land a hit or not all it does affect is how protected you are so before you say a beak is too hard because the opening is too small remember this piece of advice as long as the peak space fits your Crosshair that's all you really need for bullets to reach your opponent and hit now all you really need is the aiming skills to take advantage of those small openings so now let's talk about High Ground first since ideally this is where you'll want to be fighting from it gives you a bird's eye view of everything around you gives you extra protection from players below you and during the late game lets you stay in zone without worrying about other players suddenly piecing you high ground is the perfect place to apply pressure from you can apply peace control that prevents them from catching up to you then you can simply use edits to create an opening you can use to beam them or drop in on them one of the worst positions that you can be in during a fight is the low ground you'll have a harder time hitting your opponent above you while your opponent is able to pressure you however you can still win a fight in these conditions if you know how first you're going to want to practice staying behind cover as much as possible then practice dashing in and out to land a few shots if your opponent wants to elim you they'll need to pop out just enough so that their head is exposed this is why you need precise aim if you want to land a headshot one headshot may not sound like much when your opponent has you cornered like a fish in a barrel but if you're fast with your movement and true with your aim one headshot can become two and now despite their advantage they're going to start feeling the pressure as their Shields deplete these moments of hesitation might give you the opportunity that you need to reposition and Strike Back especially if you can force them to heal now if you're on the low ground here's a peak that you can use to catch up your opponent this peak protects you even though your opponent has diagram like many other Peaks such as the peanut butter Peak you'll need to practice your aim while jumping the secret to fighting in close quarters is speed and reaction time at spawn Close Quarters fighting can be as simple as two players running circles around each other as they hit fire spray to see who comes out on top this can also happen if you trap into a player's box and start spraying many Close Quarter fights will be decided who lands the first hit with their shotgun or who can stay in their opponent's Blind Side one essential combo that you should learn is hitting first with the shotgun then switching to the SMG to finish off what little help they have left Close Quarter skirmishes will extend themselves when one player goes into bills some easier to eliminate players might make simple structures to block fire but more advanced players will go for a high ground or box up these are the fights you need to worry about because then it becomes a race to see who can piece control who first Raiders 1v1 aim trainer is a great map because it includes box fighting scenarios tracking scenarios shotgun flick training aim duels and ads tracking all of which help you improve your reaction time and muscle memory in a real fight how would you like to master long range combat that means the landing headshots from afar and perfectly tracking your opponents so you can beam them long range fighting might be one of the more simpler methods of combat in the game simply because there's less movement involved regardless there's still a few things to understand first off long range fighting skills will help you get third parties without getting up close and personal this is also perfect if you want to improve in zero builds since catching a player out in the open at long range is basically a free elim also with the rocket Ram in rotation being able to precisely hit your targets while they're in the air is great for countering the rocket Ram or getting rid of players still gliding down Raiders 1v1 aim trainer from before can help you hit gliding players but check out this man skybach aim trainer has many different scenarios that you can use to improve your ranged aim such as horizontal tracking vertical tracking Target frenzy moving Target frenzy and so much more before we go over some of the best training maps don't forget to check out our aim guide perfect aim will earn you more e-lims so now let's make sure you never have to worry about your skills dropping off ever again we've already mentioned a few Maps but let's get down to some Nitty Gritty content that'll get you cracked if you really want to get the most out of your 1B ones you want to make a habit of finding stronger opponents to play with simply because you'll be exposed to more techniques and players who aren't as easy to psych out Zone Wars is another must play simply because it pits you in an end game scenario where you need to manage your edits and your elevation one of the most popular maps at the moment is Buca's Zone Wars map this mode will teach you to deal with pressure and trust your decisions here's a tip if you really want to improve on these Maps focus on tracking your opponent never break eye contact with opponents as long as you don't lose sight of them you can plan out your responses whether it be trying to gain High Ground cutting them off using peace control or taking a peak shot this map forces you to land headshots if you want to secure the elimination if you want to develop the muscle control and automatic reflex capable of Landing headshots easily this is the place to do so the better you get it this the faster you'll become during any Close Quarters fight where you only have a brief moment to land a hit with these tips you should have a better idea of what to aim for during a fight and how to end them quickly think you got what it takes to get your first 10 plus kill game
