One thing I didn't understand is what he meant by faster and slower moving light. In the example, he showed two waveforms that are oscillating at two different speeds and the combine to have another oscillation. This image fits in with the metaphor of combining light waves of different amplitudes, but it is the first time I've seen that light can go at different speeds expressed the way he explained in the video. I wished that he added more detail to that point.
