my name's Allen Hart and today we'll show you how to move a radiator so we've got really it on the wall here and we've got the bed that so that already is in the way of where we want to put the bed so we'll remove this video and put it on the wall over there so I'm gonna drain system down and we're going to cook a bottle and I'm going to show you different options so different options are cutting boards up different pipe work so it may be that you want to use plastic pipe it maybe you want to use Coppola so I'm just will show you some different options with that as well so yeah so first of all I'm gonna drain system down and while this bed mister Fabia so I'll do like that so I've got already air on this one and we wanted to move it onto this one up here you know that's the doll come into the room so as we can see with flower balls got this way so the pipes these pipes this is gonna come this way I went too far that's sitting with this woman here and we can see some of Bart's have already been disturbed but before you can see they're all smashed so we'll take some of them bars open got understand as well we can see there's a cut there so we'll know that's been taking up the floor as well and then again there's a couple some with these bars on now so we're possible will always lift the Bob's that's being lifted before because they're already slightly damaged are caught and they're just easier to lift it up but I'm gonna I'm gonna cook some of this flower in a different place just to show you different options as well on coming in because it may be the yeah yeah Bobby not before but first of all just so I can see there the price of being this way always be very wary we got them safe tip never leave box my nails it like this so I always tip these nails out it's very easy for customers for the kids or somebody to walk you know even yourself and stand on one of these nails and you don't want Matt to open so we've got quite a few different options we can use for cutting the boards just that way so we could use a jigsaw circular saw so it may be you just a circular saw and if you've got a circular saw anything else in series make sure your depth is correct so just you depth so the thickness of the board and then if you cut through and if there was any way already close to the joist then you walk through the joist so bucks if you're saying my cell I've used a circular saw for many years it's only recently that moved on to using the field this is probably the good thing with fairness the eats Annie cook so you're only could where you need to cook but with that you do need to be careful not to cook down too much so as you feel it come through then obviously stop because it was all going to me you don't want to be cutting into it anyways I don't want to leave so so just be careful if you're going to use a food so you know that different options of cutting the the bulbs of so just probably trim this down I'm going to see which will the flow and return this so my belief is we try and put the TIV on the floor it's possible so I'm just gonna set heating on and they will see which one gets one first on these on these lock tails here so I'm just put up my nest so I'll just put heating on there so that's just come on so what you'll find is when you buy see how these see how these and sometimes I've got arrows both ways which means that the manufacturers seeking for a month before which is okay if you're doing if you do it swaps than fine but if I'm offering a radiator in here now I'm gonna put that wall there it's easy for me to find out what's the Foreign Service and once I know it's just one returners so I know that this one this pipe here is the floor because this is things get wild now and this one's cold for all the ways just Marcus oh yeah so now I know us Gus flow so yeah so my my belief is that if you've got firms down you don't want the really key to get into pretty air and then talk for it to show off so if it's on the floor if the slightly moderate reactive it probably means very little difference but it's just the way I the way I do in you know that's what I've always done if you do a full system try and pull up floor if possible as I said it's not that well if you if you can't do that but yeah so I'm sure if anyone you fractures want to disagree with me if you can have a comments below and tell me I'm wrong I'm you know I'm happy I was happy to be told that I'm wrong so yeah well that's what I do that sort of thing so if we look at pressure they've got pressure in I'm just gonna drain this down from the filter and it's just quick and easy for me to do it from filter if you need to know other wares I've drilled in the system if you have a look at my other video how to install a new radiator there's some different options so we've got put in to drain off past those so now we're just complete it allows that to go in which allows the water to drain out so I'm gonna this really a threat you can see that it's roughly where we want it off the floor so what we'll do is once we've lifted the radiator off the wall and we'll just measure brackets and then we can refit it the same height on the side just so I'll just say one thing so I've removed the the the air point and the blanking top it's um I always do I just find it easier to lift the red yes by doing that so all we need to do then you just measure from the bottom of the bracket to the scaling and then we can do the same on the other side I feel so one thing we need to be aware of is where the Djoser under the floor because we don't want to put the really answer the valve down where there's gonna be a joist in the way so this side you can see the delay so it's away from the joist and then they've done that one as well so it's away from the joist so I need an extra board up here so if we have a look what nails are we know that the joists is under there so I'm just going to get my fin and I'm just going to carefully cut that so these Barb's already know before because you can see it sucked the tongue-and-groove bit cough so again as I said we've got about 190 from top of us getting Bob's a bottom-up bracket it don't have to be exact as long as both Rocky's a level then he's fine so when I'm marking he'll fall apart to put the red here brackets I just lit ready on floor like this and then I'll do a center of one of the brackets there and then just got a dark a while and then sin and they were saying and then you can just move really sudo space on the back of the radio with these brackets so just always make sure you get the bracket level of the wall if you can so I'm just gonna mark the bracket now so what we said what 190 oh just the one ninety six hundred ninety millimeters nineteen centimeters and and then we'll we'll use that a Mac for the bracket just warm Fink on these brackets one side is longer than the other so if you don't want if you want it close to wall then have the bracket with the smallest side coming up the wall if you want it further off the wall might be scaring boards are quite big then turn it the other way so I want it quite close to wall here so I'm gonna do is just mark that bottom on there and then just mark back for our skulls so now what dug the holes and we'll put the plugs in and then we'll put the screws in just be careful not to drill too far so I know we use two inch to each tens screws so if you can just if you're gonna put two inch tens in then you want your hole only needs to be towing sharp just a little bit over towing so when you drill just make sure that you you know obviously you don't go too far you don't want to drill into a bedroom are it might be a bathroom other side of it and tiles so you know just be really careful when you're drilling just to make sure you've drilled enough they can see on then I've not drilled in quite fair enough so that we can just a little bit so I'm just going to put some red blocks so I always knock the plug in a little bit so again remember which way you put it back young and then on this one what I'm going to do is I'm just gonna mark the sliding's and I'm just going to drill em once because then we can adjust this up-and-down foot level so once we've drilled it we can map it back on and we can level this brackets up I can say that now so I'm not tying these but it's a and now that's perfect now and then if we wanted to we could also put some screws in the other ones so when lifting ready onto the brackets I was trying the bottom first and then once you fall to the bottom one and then that's the tactic well so I'm just going to take the old tales out these some new tales in your vows normally I'd use a lisp or not just pull no off but find in a minute and house is a mess so I'm just gonna put new hotels in alright so now I'm gonna put the new tail in so most people use PTFE tape on there and then just wrap around about 20 reps I use Loctite five seven seven just put a bear just put a bit on Fred you can be tools to put these in but if you're just going to I've read it and no one again he's it's a Western one I really so I'm just gonna cut some of this paper back now so I've just got some see that's not teasing so that goes free turn around so for the purposes of this video I'm going to reuse the paint that we took out there's no there's no red it's not wrong with it so I'm just going to reuse that so when we come to the pot and see until it's pipe work I'm going to use press fit but there's lots of different options so you could use compression so compression fitting has an olive inside personally I wouldn't I wouldn't use compression oh no I'm a heating system normally and you could use push bit so I could pop what fits in there quite easily and Erica Jews soldered so solder would be okay if it were quite tight because the press pins are quite big but one thing we would love some look a bit of mocking this pipe so formate press pit is going a bit best option so put us waiting on there and then we can just mark it where we want it and then we press fit you should mark them just so you know that failing and then I will do well he has machine that's done so the benefits of that with no flux going in there we're not going to catch Oh with blump um and it's a solid fix so if we add a push fit one then it still move about so there's there's pluses and minuses and to be honest if it does job then it does job so use whichever whichever one that you feel is best for you so got stop end to go on that section apart though well that is so I press that on so if you decided you wanted to use plastic pipe there's all sorts of different plastic pipe you can use you can use speed fit speedfit if not no he's like that when you push the pipe in you can grab all of it and you can pull it back out again and then what you do it to tie my in you just tighten your nut up and that's tight and that what come out so that's good you'd always remember to pull and insert in there if you're gonna use half so our hep is a little bit different when you push it in you then need to use a tool to to get it back out so that's got a plastic tool so depends what you prefer without as well they come so heck come to the mouth insert so you push you insert into pipe like that and then you just get your feet and just push your fitting on so that's if you want it to do it with push fit instead and then if then you need to turn that back off you have this little tool you get this tool and then you push that together and then you can pull it back out again so it's still nice and easy to remove so it's just whichever you prefer one of yous plastic hours she'll speak to it it's just easy just to pull up account and then once you've finished the time now so I will she was speed fit up a first beat fit I'm not saying one's better than another because I don't think there's much difference but as I said well that woman you need to talk so if you've lost at all you know you can't do it as easy and for maybe that's not going to get knocked off as easy as well so whichever one you prefer so for this rodeo I'm just putting the pipe there and just lining it up and then I can just draw a line down so I've now got a piece of copper from here to this right here so I'm going to do is I'm just going to drill into joist because it's it's a sharp piece I'm not trying to drill this down a little bit then barovik so that the copper is quite locked down so that one point screws in we got spoof little copper pipe so we're just putting a press fit elbow on server and then I'm just gonna put long on that as well and then that we've done I've put the points bucket as well right so we're gonna fill the system now and we're gonna test all the pie work so let's go down now on top so we're just bleeding and ready as now okay in the air it's all filled up now and it's all working there's no leaks that's how you mover Eliot sir I hope you find this video of some use if you've got any questions at all please ask them in comments below and thank you for taking the time towards this video
