How to mount a winch! NEW Traveller and toolbox on my Big Tex 20 foot Trailer.

foreign goes all right I got this 4 500 pound traveler winch from Tractor Supply we're about to install it on this 20-foot trailer you can see it comes with everything you need to mount it and it was only about 240 dollars I was planning on mounting it inside of this toolbox to keep it out of the weather I thought it'd be pretty fancy but it turns out it's just going to be too hard to do because this lip comes up so high I thought I could squeeze it in here and just add some bars underneath the winch to raise it up to get over that Loop but the battery in the winch with all the mounting just won't fit in the end I knew I couldn't just mount it through the wood because it just would not be strong enough but after looking under the trailer I realized there is a bar that I can get some u-bolts around and they'll be strong so we're gonna go with that now this is a very inexpensive winch but I have owned one before I had a 2500 pound and it would lift my four-wheeler into a tree and it was only like a hundred dollars so I figured 4 500 pounds for two hundred forty dollars pretty good deal and since we're not going to mount it in the Box and it's going to be out in the weather it won't be a big deal in a couple years if we need to replace it with the new one okay let's get started [Music] that first one looks pretty strong probably hold it all by itself thank you [Music] [Music] foreign foreign okay I think that's gonna be good enough time to get the box mounted in so we can get the battery and everything all set up in its place [Music] [Music] thank you getting the Box on there was pretty easy getting the battery secured down using some rivets finally done with that foreign thank you I have to answer everybody's looking for So when you buy a winch and you plan on hooking it to an ATV or another type of vehicle there's this one last wire that you have to hook to the ignition to let the battery know to stop draining when the vehicle is off a lot of people buy these winches and put them all together and they get stuck on this very last wire I'm going to hook up this wire show y'all how to do it we're going to try the winch out it goes on the positive inward terminal got everything installed time to hook it to the battery try it out oh foreign
