Are you ready to test your memory with an
ultra-challenge? I’m about to hack your brain and blow your
mind by making you memorize a crazy number of random words. All you need to do is watch and listen, and
at the end, your visual memory will do something incredible. Here we go. Imagine you’re a ninja, dressed all in black
and ready for action. You’ve got a bright pink number 1 on your
chest because this image is the first thing you’ll remember. A large clown appears in front of you, and
shapes up to fight you. He looks ridiculous but maybe under the blue
wig and oversized shoes is an ultimate fighting champion. The clown pulls out a trombone and holds it
up like a sword. Is the trombone a weapon or an instrument
of torture? A trombone could have dangerous potential. With a mighty heave the clown throws the trombone,
and it flies through the air and hits an octopus in the head. The octopus is bright pink and now has a bit
of a headache. The octopus staggers around and then collapses
into a large comfortable armchair. The armchair isn’t really designed for an
octopus, so there are octopus legs hanging over it everywhere. There’s something uncomfortable on the armchair. The octopus stands up and reveals a toy dinosaur
it had sat on. It’s hard plastic so it’s no wonder it
wasn’t comfortable to sit on. The dinosaur comes alive, pulls out a guitar
and begins rocking out. I can only imagine he’s playing Dinosaur
Rock, and he’s making that guitar sing. The dinosaur finishes the song in true rock
style by smashing the guitar but accidentally crushes a large spider. That’s no way to treat your fans, even if
they are a spider. From the purple corpse of the flattened spider
begins to grow a large flower. Maybe it’s a reincarnation of the spider,
and it grows up towards the sky, looking happy and pleased. The flower is feeling hungry and starts eating
a juicy hamburger. The burger has a delicious beef patty and
a golden bun. It probably weighs more than the flower, but
it’s too good to resist. The hamburger grows arms and legs and tries
to escape from the flower. It pulls out a large gleaming sword and starts
swinging it wildly in the air. The sword is razor sharp and dangerous. The hamburger throws the sword through the
air but it misses the flower and flies into the side of a school bus. Thankfully no children were in the bus at
the time, but the bus is still pretty grumpy. The bus pulls the sword out of its side and
uses it to slice up an enormous pineapple. The pineapple is golden orange, ripe and ready
to be eaten. Who doesn’t love pineapple? The rings of sliced pineapple are put into
a rollercoaster and begin zooming around the track. A little known fact about pineapples is they’re
huge fans of rollercoasters, they go crazy for it. Unfortunately the rollercoaster goes a little
crazy and crashes into a long line of dominoes. The dominoes are black tiles with white dots
on them, and they go flying everywhere. The dominoes fall over in a long line and
climb up the side of a brightly coloured rainbow. The black dominoes contrast against the red,
orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet of the rainbow. Under the weight of the dominoes, the rainbow
collapses and falls onto a large clock. The clock was asleep at the time, so it’s
an abrupt way to be woken up. The clock is disappointed to see the collapsed
rainbow, so it pulls out an enormous paint brush to paint a new rainbow in the sky. Unfortunately, the clock is a terrible artist
and instead of painting a rainbow it paints a whirling tornado instead. The tornado is spinning round and round on
the spot. It turns out the tornado is a huge fan of
tennis and it pulls out a tennis racket and starts swinging it around. Now it just needs somebody to play against. As the tornado is swinging the tennis racket
around, it accidentally slams the racket into a large pair of bright red lips. The lips start to swell up from the impact,
so there’s no need for botox injections. Ok, pause the video and write down how many
words you’re able to recall using your visual memory. The trick is to re-create a picture in your
mind of each image in the story. In psychology, the magical rule of 7 says
the average person can hold 7 pieces of information in their working memory, plus or minus two. There were 21 words in this challenge, so
