HOW TO MAKE Your Bedroom Look Expensive! DIY HEADBOARD

i'm starting off this diy with dollar tree plaques and i'm gonna be making a headboard that's gonna cover almost the whole of the wall in my bedroom i'll glue some cutout foam boards together and glue the plaques to it i'm going to space this out because that's where i'm going to be putting the lights i'll cover the sides but i'm going to be doing that after i've mounted this to the wall the surface of the plaque is going to be covered with gold tape now for the main body of the headboard i'm going to be using foam boards and these are hard foam boards that i got from hobby lobby i'm going to cut them down to size and glue the pieces together to give me about seven feet long piece of foam board i'm gonna be cutting out one feet wide boards i cut about six pieces and they will all be covered with foam if you're new to my channel it's so great to have you here now don't forget to click on the subscribe button and that notification bell so you don't miss out on any of my latest videos [Music] this is a unique fabric that i got from joanne and it has gold cream color and silver which will go perfectly well for the thing that i want in the bedroom you can use sharp scissors for cutting but i'm going to be using my cutting tool here which is really super fast and i'll leave a link for this down in the description box below now i'm going to go ahead to attach the fabric to the foam board and foam with a spray adhesive i did this for all six pieces and then when i was done i decided to just have something in between all of the pieces that's going to be in silver so i figured i was just going to use tape so i'm going to use silver tape on pvc that's going to be in between them the first thing i'm going to be installing will be what i made earlier with the dollar tree plaques for the lighting and that's going to be here at the top now i'm going to hold every other thing that i made with command strips so that it would be easy to take down i'll install mirrors by the sides and i'm gonna have the mirrors permanently on the wall only because whichever headboard that i'm gonna have in my room is definitely gonna have mirrors by the sides i want the mirrors to look pretty so i'm going to be covering them up with room divider that i've had for a while and the link for this is going to be down in the description box below for those of you who love the design you can use it as a room divider but i would want to use it to cover up some part of the mirrors to give it a nice effect i separated the pieces and removed the backing and then just used stick tapes to attach these to the mirror i'll be mounting led strips starting from this corner of the mirror and going all the way to the top to the other end i'm going to be adding a few embellishments to an old headboard that i have so they will look nice in front of the other headboard that i've made that's for the entire wall i got some pretty faux flowers that i want to use on my nightstand for a good price so i got this color and another pink color and i'm gonna also have this inside a candle holder and i'm using this candle holder because of the glam that it has this is what the other color looks like now here's what the main wall in my bedroom now looks like the lights at the top were mounted on the plaques that i got from the dollar tree before the glue on the mirror was dry i did take some clips so forgive me for that if you're going to see tapes on some of the mirrors here's what the room used to look like before and here's what it looks like now [Music] [Music] this is what the room looks like at night with just a push light and i also did another clip with just the led strips i really love how this wall turned out and i really hope you all enjoyed this video now don't forget to like it and share with your friends and families as well thank you guys so much for watching i have other home decor diy videos that are linked in the description box below to check them out and for those of you who have not subscribed to my channel don't forget to click on the subscribe button you
