How to make sub decks in ANKI mobile app *ANKI TUTORIAL*

what's going on everyone welcome to mission medicine my name is zukim henry and today i'm going to be showing you all how to add subdex to your anki ipad ios app you can use this on your ipad you can use this on your iphone whatever ios device you have you can download anki app from the apple store the app store and download it so i have the app up currently right now and one of the things that i know a lot of people have challenges with is trying to create subjects so you can see here for example i made this u world topics deck and this deck underneath it has different subducts so i have biochem biology gen chem so you might be wondering how do i add subjects on under a main deck using the ios app and one workaround that i figured out is that you can basically rename it and use colons to get it under there inside so the deck that you want to use to put the new sub deck under you copy the name so you just swipe it hit rename select all and copy it right press copy then press cancel then come down to add and export and then you hit add empty deck so this is the new subject that we're going to make and put it under the url topics one but in order to do that we have to paste the u-world name into the new deck right there it is but then you hit colon colon you have to add two colons and once you add the two colons you can now put the new name of the new deck that you want to add to the original so let's say test deck for video and press ok then now if i open up the subjects under the url topics it should be there the test deck for video and there we go we see test deck for video pow and that's how you add subducts to the ios app okay nation if you got into this part of the video that means you made it to the end please hit that like button if you haven't already and consider subscribing so you can join the med nation family share this video with someone share with one other friend family member who would also find this content valuable and helpful and if you haven't already hit that notification bell so you'll be updated on new video content when it's uploaded to this channel until then see you next time take care
