HOW TO MAKE SPRITE SHEETS FOR UNITY - FASTEST METHOD!

hey my name is chris and i guess that your sprite sheet creation process is probably pretty lame and takes an hour to do well i've got some great tips to show you how to improve your sprite sheet creation and to take it down to under one minute let's hop in so i guess that your sprite sheet creation process looks something like this you start out with a simple animation like this bunny here then you look at how big the picture is then you count the images then you add it up in google or something create a new layer let's just say it's 2000 by 2000 and then you tediously copy each thing paste it in you have to re-drag it you use grids which really don't help at all and then you do it one by one drag it in drag it in copy paste drag it in fix go into game engine see that the animation is not right come back and do it over and over now let's look at my process i go into scripts i go into this generator i click ok and now let's speed it up it's about 20 seconds and boom you've got a perfectly fit sprite sheet there's nothing wrong with it it works you can simply import it to unity and bam it's done now how did i do it well it's simple i want you to go into this link right here i want you to download the spreadsheet generator once you downloaded the generator i want you to unpack it and i already have unpacked it so i'll have to copy it over again then i want you to open the folder you'll have this folder right here and you'll have a gsx file now read this copy and paste into your scripts preset folder which is directly here for some it might vary in my case for example it's not in c but it's an f so i go into f i look at the dope i go into adobe photoshop i go into presets and i go into scripts and then you just paste this gsx file into this folder once it's done you can open photoshop and in photoshop you will have this generator now this generator is really simple to use because once you have an animation you can simply go into it go into scripts go into sprite generator pick frame animation and it will do everything else automatically you just click ok and it creates everything now and that was the whole tutorial i hope that you guys liked it and that it really helped you out if you did please like and subscribe it really helps the channel out till next time boys see you soon [Music] you
