good day Welcome to The Simple Cooking Channel today I'm going to show you how to make homemade sour cream unbelievably easy only need two things let's [Music] [Music] go all righty then this is so easy all you need to do is get a bowl and get some thickened cream which is also like whipping cream just pour in about a cup or so worth which is about 250 Ms get a lemon and squeeze in about a teaspoon or so of lemon juice that'll do and now just mix [Music] it [Music] now you want this to be similar to a sour cream sort of consistency so you don't want this to be overly thick now you can use a hand mixer like a beater or something instead of just this but I like using this and as you can see it's got a nice looking sour cream consistency now you can just store this in the fridge for a little while in a atite contain container for up to a week or just use it for anything yum now just serve up your homemade sour cream in a dish or whatever you wish well hope you like this this is so yummy so easy and it's cheaper than buying it and it allows you to make it how you want if you want it to be thicker and creamier than starb or runnier or more tart whatever you can do [Music] it oh tastes exactly like sour cream yet million times better now before I go Todd's kitchen is also making this around the same time that I am check him out click on the link there's a little Link in the description there's an annotation here to go to his video of making sour cream as well I'll see you next time for my next [Music] meal [Music]
