right okay we're gonna make a lentil stew I know a lot of you guys are gonna say yeah lentils because I hate lentils to be honest I do not like lentils but I've been having a lot of problems with my hemoglobin really back to the point that I can't breathe cuz I need oxygen I have got blood transfusions so they told me you need to eat liver or lentils or both I said liver there's no way I would you liver I tried it I hate it it's disgusting I'm sorry you guys I know there's a lot of people that love it but I do not like liver and I do not like lentils either but I can do the lentils the way I figured out how to make it compared to the to the liver because we tried at different ways oh no I couldn't it's like it was just blood in my mouth you guys I have vessel disgusting I'm leaving a whole blood taste but anyways let's open up the father come up came up to my mind so I'm gonna share with you guys today how to make the lentil soup of course my way and let's get started with those ingredients okay so you'll be meeting leg toes there's a pound in this bag but I'm gonna do half of it so half a pound then we have some cilantro you could add parsley if you want or substitute cilantro for parsley it's up to you I have one jalapeno tomatoes onion some garlic and some bacon okay it's kind of like a Mexican lentil soup okay so I'm gonna go ahead first these shall be cleaned already but I'm gonna go ahead and check them just to make sure there's no little weird things in there see like this I don't like it so that's good and check and then after that we will rinse really well no need to are too soaked and as you really have like problems to digest they do recommend soap you make all your beans you know like overnight but honestly I don't like something my lentils all realize the beans yeah pinto beans and the other beans yeah but not lentils cuz then they can ask thinking ugly when you're something for two all right so we're gonna go ahead give this a very good rinse and then we're gonna put it in water so we could cook them for 30 minutes okay so I did put a cup of water for half a pound of my mental okay don't add milk salt or anything at this time we're going to go ahead and cover it and will cook it for like 30 minutes okay in the meantime what I'm gonna go ahead and do is cut our bacon you could this is pork bacon but if you want to use turkey bacon that's fine you just need a little bit of oil when we start climbing and you could also use um Franks if you want like you know the beef chicken turkey whatever kind you want it's up to you just make it your own I'm just sure you know how I like it and it's actually pretty good take you take them apart just so it's easier taking apart now that when they're cooking now we're going to start chopping all the veggies well our tomato and you could actually add carrots celery is really good guys it's just you know like I said making your way so I'm gonna go ahead and chop this up I'm gonna mince the garlic okay so my lentils been cooking for about 20 minutes well we're going to go ahead and do it is start frying our bacon I'm not adding all your positive supports so you're going to use turkey make sure to add a little bit of oil thanks for we wonder begin to be crispy but once it starts releasing its old fat let's go ahead and add our onion garlic and jalapeno we're going to go ahead and our tomatoes okay so now that's tomatoes nice and soft what I'm gonna go to trade off pot of Mentos okay and we're gonna add I think I'm gonna add everything into the pot okay and then we're gonna go ahead and add our cilantro you wanna add parsley as well go ahead and stir let's go ahead and taste it because remember bacon is salty okay you need salt so you could either do salt and pepper oh you could do the little minute for the chicken bouillon I actually have the tomato pain so I'm gonna go ahead and add the tomato I'm gonna do one Q first and if it needs some more I'll put a second one and it will help to get it a little bit of color as well add in a second one me because my bacon was little sodium but then I'm not even more sodium with this so I cut my lentils on medium heat but now that we added everything we're gonna go ahead and lower it to low cover it and let it simmer for like ten minutes just so it could get all the flavors of the bacon and everything together all righty this is often smells very good and it looks very good so we have came to the end of the video it's time to taste it you guys it's very good it's very hot this is the only way I eat my
