List of materials and tools used in description below. trace and cut the pattern dye both sides of leather and let it dry (note that after final wax coat colour will be much stronger) make grooves for thread to sit flat ( you can use some smoothed nail to make similar groove if you dont have the tool but leather need to be slightly wet) trace and cut middle part mark glue place sand face of the skin and put glue on parts then let it dry connect parts wet the leather so its easier to bend then mark belt loop lenght and cut it mark glue place put the glue and while waiting for it to dry dye the edges which will be difficult to dye later connect the parts and make belt stiching groove (on this side of the skin the nail method may be difficult) make holes (if you dont have the tool, sharpened fork will work as good, i used it before i got the tools) Stitch it put the glue on marked place and middle part then let it dry fold the sheath mark where holes will be drilled (fork is fine) drill the holes (1,5-2mm drill) make groove for stitch on other side stitch cut off excess leather and sand the edge chamfer edges dye edges burnish edges with wooden stick make some decorations (on slightly wet leather) wrap the knife in thin foil and put sheath in water for 10-20 seconds then form the sheath around the knife when finished let it dry for few hours when dried its very stiff now its time for final wax coat put thick layer of wax paste and use hair dryer to melt it (repeat process if needed) buff the sheath with cloth and you're done!
