How to Make Laser Beam in Blender!

I created this sci-fi scene using blender and now I'll show you how I made this laser beam I take this face from the glasses then duplicate it and reset its position then separate it from the mesh move it along x-axis just a little and Link it to the empty which is controlling the body okay go here and create a shape key just after that create a new one extrude the face and scale it up check the animation changing value nice add new shape from mix and set relative to E1 move the back face along x-axis then reset the values to zero animate the beam setting 0 and 1 values and this is what we got 30 key on scale here go one frame backward and set it to zero as for laser beam material you can download it for free from the link below animate x y o z location from this mapping node and of course you can try out a casting shape of a beam
