How to Make Headers & Consecutive Page Numbers Using Word : MS Word Skills

[Music] this is Crystal and we're creating headers and consecutive page numbers in Microsoft Word one of the great features in word is that you can create your headers and Footers and even page numbers and it will automatically consecutively number them for you just got to know where it is word is a little more logical than it was in earlier versions so here I am in this document it's only about four pages but I do want it to have page numbers in the ribbon if I go to the insert tab because I'm inserting and here in the group header and footer now of course I can go to the header or the footer but there's a group here called page number and if I click on the page number I can choose from what location I'd like the header to be so I actually want it in the top of the page and when I select it notice it gives me a little preview so do I want it on the left the middle or the right well this is where I want it so as soon as I click on it there it goes it puts it in the exact location that I'd like it and it brings me to the header and it gives me a header and footer tools consecutive tab here where I can actually change the page number I can even change the format if I like if I want to go back to the document I can simply close the header and footer or double click right here in the document and yep they are consecutive so if I just scroll to page two there you go that's page two so there we go we placed some page numbers in Word and by default they are consecutive this is Crystal see you [Music] soon
