hi guys today in this video I will be making a simple allinone component tester device which can test any component like LEDs transistors mosfets inductors capacitors triacs resistors and also other components so I designed the simple circuit diagram which only uses Arduino Nano and some external components like few resistors and connectors and also a 16 to i2c display for easy assembly of the circuit I converted schematics into the PCB layout and the PCB is going to be look like this you can download both circuit diagram and PCB files link is in video description in order to manufacture this PCB visit jlcpcb tocom and here you can add the Gerber file I provided after uploading you can see the preview of the PCB you can also change quantity and the color of PC C BS as for your requirements and then save a card for check out within some days I got my order from jlc PCB delivered and the quality of the pcbs is amazing and five pieces is for just $2 and now it is time to assemble the PCB so let's place all the components on the PCB according to the circuit diagram [Music] and after spending some time with the soldering process I clean the PCB with isopropyl alcohol and here our PCB is looking nice and clean now use the Arduino Nano version 3 and install it at its place now take a long nut bolt screw and install into the board holes like this and secure the nuts also install another nut into the screws now use the 162 LCD with i2c module installed place it into the bolts and Connect into the connector and install the another nut to secure the LCD at its place I also 3D printed the cap for push button which is optional to be used now use this type of data cable to upload the code in uino connect the cable with uino in computer and open the code in uino ide and click on upload after successful uploading of code our tester device is ready to use you can use the mobile adapter and use the same cable to power up this device and and you can see our tester is ready to test the components so let's test the LEDs first insert the LED in connector and press the test button and here you can see details like voltage forward with diode symbol as you can see different color LEDs has different voltage forward value now let's test the transistors and here are the results showing transistor type pinouts and other details now let's test mosfets and you can see details like mosfet type pin outs and other information for bigger components you can use this terminal connector and test the components easily you can also test inductors you will be able to see inductance and resistance of coil capacitors can also be tested both electrolyte and polyester from 1 NF to 100 UF also you will be able to test the resistors too and some other components like Triads if you enjoyed the video give a thumbs up for more useful videos subscribe the channel also check out these recommended videos thanks for watching ching
