How to make a Pulley/Winch System that Raises a (warhammer) Table to the Ceiling!!

hi my name is Josiah and I realize and we like to play Warhammer what is Warhammer is a fantasy war game where you combine models to form units and battalions which in turn form armies that you get to play against other people it's really neat there's only one problem it takes up a lot of space so we built a table to race to the ceiling and that's what this video is about to put this table up to the ceiling we needed some basic equipment such as rope police I hopes and all that stuff so let's get started we first took puller ropes connected it to the four corners then we took it up to four swivel pulleys we connected all the four ropes through four fixed pulleys to a single board which then connected to a winch cable which then came down to the winch and stuff so this is practically a boat which the crucial thing about this is that it ratchets which so when you're lifting the table if you happen to let go of the handle it will catch it providing the measure of security I'll damage [Music] so we have the table in the air great but we do not trust our work so we figured that this is poly 70 pounds and children are playing underneath what if it fell what if you're not broke what if the winch broke there's a number of things possible so we wanted a completely safe redundant system that's completely separate so we came up with the solution of using chains that connect to the bottom of the table that would then ensure the safety of all the people working under this now we're confident that the chains will hold it no matter what happens thanks for watching and if you ever are looking for a new game to play we highly recommend warrior
