welcome back to another episode of miller's menu right here on youtube if you've been watching the channel for any length of time you know i'm a big breakfast guy i've got several videos about breakfast so when there's a new trend or a new video idea going around social media around facebook tick tock instagram you know your boys gotta try it so today we'll be making the hash brown omelette i'm gonna put my spin on it and if you're interested stick around and we'll get right into it right after this intro [Music] all right here are our ingredients for today we're going to have the hash browns and the eggs for the omelet inside the omelette we're going to have diced ham diced onions and some shredded cheese for the gravy on top we're going to have sausage flour milk we're going to cook in some butter and with some salt for some seasoning that's it looks like a lot should be pretty easy let's get to making it alright we're going to start by making the sausage gravy it should probably take the longest so we'll get the sausage out get it cooked up and then put it in the gravy probably won't show a whole lot of it if you want to see how to make i make my sausage gravy i'll put the link right here to another video that has it in it so stay tuned we'll get the sausage gravy growing and then i'll come back to you when we get to the hash browns all right our gravy is made so we're going to put a bunch of butter down and start cooking our hash browns so got to use our friend the butter here and while we get that mixing we'll open these hash browns griddle is a little warm [Music] it should be fine just going to spread these out these are just frozen shredded hashbrowns probably way too many for what i need to make tonight but so so what you're going to do is cook your hash browns just kind of tossing them around in the butter get them nice and um starting cooking and then we'll lay them out how we're going to for the omelets okay so while you're doing this just kind of spread them around and then you can salt them and pepper them we don't use pepper in the household but you can definitely salt them here get that butter in there it's what gives it the nice crispiness all right they're starting to cook and uh just toss them around a little bit while those are starting to get happy and and start to cook a little bit we're going to open our ham so our hash browns are almost cooked this gravy is a little bit runny so we're going to add a little bit more flour in it anybody else just keep a spoon in their bag of their flour in the cupboard hash browns are ready so what we're going to do is you need to spread them out nice and thin preferably in some sort of rectangle shape all right you don't want it thick because you got to have the egg seep all the way down to the griddle and cook so like that grab the eggs they've been sitting here for a while give them a whisk and we're just going to pour those right on the hash browns there you are and we're going to grab our ham put it right there on top just sprinkle it you want ham in every bite looks pretty tasty i'm not gonna lie [Music] all right now we're gonna get our cheese on it [Applause] you can use any kind of cheese you want you can use bacon instead of ham i just had diced ham already and didn't want to have to cook bacon today as if that's a chore on here but shredded cheese everywhere just going to have that melt didn't need this other ham so put it over there put our plate right here when we get ready oh almost forgot my favorite part gotta die throw some of these diced onions in here i'm just going to let that cook for just a second you'll know because the eggs are almost done as soon as the cheese starts to melt we're ready to cut it up and plate it started filming the video today and uh they started mowing and i walked over and they're really cool and and decided not to mow while i was doing the video they they watching and everything and then the kid next door starts blowing so it just wasn't meant to be to not have anybody mowing tonight but we'll get through it gravy's sitting here ready to go all right so what you're going to do is just cut take it fold it right over and then put a scoop of gravy right across that top and there you have it let me get a picture and we'll be ready for the taste test all right the only thing left to do is to eat so you know this is my favorite part of the whole video anyway so those hash browns are so crispy oh my gosh those onions are good do yourself a favor and try this recipe get your hashbrowns crispy on the griddle put some whatever you want in it veggies cheese salsa i don't care just eggs salsa our eggs and hash browns and anything else and eat it is so good all right before i eat the rest of that i want to thank you guys for watching i really do truly appreciate it we are growing as a channel if you like our video give us a thumbs up and share with your friends we do appreciate it
