How to Introduce Yourself on Video in 60 Seconds

today I'm talking about the four rules needed to make a great 60-second introduction video that will really make a lasting impact on your viewers hey there I'm Dan Bennett from video for entrepreneurs where you guessed it we help entrepreneurs and professionals learn how to look and sound great on camera rule number one start at the beginning they often say that the best place to start is well at the beginning right so I'll use myself as an example that you can model after and here is my beginning hello there my name is Dan Bennett I'm the founder of video for entrepreneurs we are a brand dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and professionals learn how to look and sound great on camera rule number two tell them where you're coming from give the viewer a little bit of a origin or backstory where did you come from and what led to this moment right here do not hold back here share what has driven you to want to help others with your product or service here's mine I used to help large Fortune 500 companies all over the United States with story development and video production projects I was often left unsatisfied this work because once I was back in my home city of Flint Michigan small businesses there didn't have access to me like those big businesses did for many reasons so I decided to do something about it and narrow the gap between the big dogs with the big budgets and the entrepreneurs with smaller budgets but awesome ideas products and services rule number three tell the people why you're here and tell them why they're here for that matter take a moment to explain your intentions and use this opportunity to set expectations leading with conflict is such a powerful way to capture attention and again set those expectations here's mine and that
