How to Install WordPress on Wamp Localhost [NEW 2017]

hey guys you can savor Kelly in today's video I'm gonna walk you through how to set up WordPress on 4.8 on your web server and this also works too if you're doing it on any other site as well such as Bluehost GoDaddy or any of those sites as well or if you don't know Mac on them [Music] so the first thing you want to do um if you're doing WAMP first thing you're going to do is go ahead and just activate it and start it are we good another video going through and teach you how to do that so let me okay so starting again as we two times you turn green and when it turns green we're going to just go over here to the directory and this is worth four we're going to put everything out you see I had a couple is the lid instance of scruple or present some other things as well so let's go down let's go to and download WordPress so all we do is you for the wordpress.org make sure your kV go TOCOM is going to take you to the wordpress hosting work with the stay on hosting a little separate approach this is more for the developer right here so you go right here and then click on this and then we come over here we go and download it that's your pretty simple to download and install WordPress and download for Pisco point eight we're going to use a zip okay so we're going to save it and then we're downloading it right there so the next thing we're going to go through and do is at the week to go to and downloads and wait for this to download takes a couple seconds as I said before this style is only eight point five megabytes so it's not not so it's not really a big file but it's pretty easy you notice today August is situated I'm using Firefox as my browser and use Chrome as well I've done it on Chrome multiple times I'm so it works it works as that thing so let's see exactly where we are okay we have it 99 downloads let's copy it from here then for you let's go back to that pull this up and then we'll go download and then we want to bring that over from bring this one over drop it over here and then all we're going to do from here is a stretch and then we should go back out here let's try it to the top give it a something we'll rename it once you finish one way to this to finish and now this is our installation right here right here our wordpress installation you can rename this anything you want to um so you can go out and you can do that i'm actually gonna if and ones that you want to do like subdomains i'm in there as well or have a actual attest one actually on the same one so we have everything set up here the next thing we're going to go through and do basically go to this address and wait we need to go through and stuff up so let's go down here click on next name news you can create a database till chp my my admin um now we're going to go ahead and head over to page my PHP myadmin and here we're going to create a database if you don't know your password are you going to do is use root and then you not to put a password in if you don't want and you can go in and go straight into it and since this is only your local and it doesn't matter too much because these are just from your sites that you play around with or your testing sites so we'll create a database what do want as WordPress test now br-2 database now we need to create a user so we go to privileges and they say we will create an admin user give the user the same name and then password is going to be something simple and then from there give them all privileges they need and then over here over here we're going to please go [Music] then we have our database created and then we're going to want to head over after that we're going to after that we're going to want to go ahead and hit to WordPress so we can go to our directory I'm here our localhost so right here at the top and then we can see we have our here we head over to this and then sleep as load and then sometimes those air right here all you really need to do is come back through here into local localhost and then we need to visit this location right here and this is where the word for WordPress has been has been extracted to right here and so there's gonna have a go through and pick our language so you pick whatever things you have I appreciate a have if Georgia language is out there then right now we're go through and put in the database name my database username a database password database holes in the table prefix um that we have solution the database so let's go through on a database name get that give us a password or something simple just to [Music] and then we go run our installation right install I was pretty simple then you can put your name in so I did like for the users of the test site for this and then you can put in and you put in any path what you want to do in your email and then from there your your installed on WordPress it's pretty simple so most point guards it's not really too hard to put it on here sometimes some people come in towards some troubles put it for them for most times on this straight pretty face course there's only like four or five steps and then right from there you go in there and then it will sit WordPress up for you and then you can just login [Music] so let's go ahead and login so there are new site present room of the password [Music] have to go back and go ahead and get the password I see and I'm forgetting it oh yeah and this is the basic WordPress right here as you can see I'm we set up in less than 10 minutes and the order that tom is that he took talking so you can go through and set up pretty easy and this is your basic WordPress site where you can go and you can install and anything you want to stall here so let's do this theme that I've been working on to see how that looks so just go into here and then choose that new and then grout when you won each team's you want to and then from there you're pretty good right there you install it activated adding plugins you want to add and then from
