How to install vMenu into a Fivem server [Updated 2024 Tutorial] #2

hello everyone I'm sorry trooper and welcome back to another video today I'm showing you guys how to install menus into your guys's 5m server if you haven't already watched the previous video on how to install a 5m server for free on your own PC make sure you guys watch that one first and then come back to this video later on by clicking the top hand corner in the top right hand corner click the info card and then click the first video that comes up but the first thing you guys are going to want to do if you have already done that is click the first link down in the description below our Bean goes right here to V menu which is pretty much a menu which does everything on your 5m server from Banning to teleporting to spawning in cars to deleting cars pretty much everything you guys want you name it it's here so to install this what you guys want to do is head down to assets click on V menu and then open it on up and you will be greeted with a couple of files that are not already put in a folder so to install this correctly what you guys want to do is find your resources file so if you have used the same directory and way of installing a 5m server that I did in the other video with you guys head to your server file go into TX data to cfx default and then go to resources then in here make sure that your servers stay nice and neat and organized we're going to right click new folder and call this one make sure you have a bracket this is very important a opening bracket menu and then a closing bracket these brackets basically ensure that your server.cfg and your server in general ignores this folder and goes straight into the other folders inside that means you don't actually have to add this folder in to your server.cfg but once you guys have done that you're going to want to right click again make another folder and call this folder the menu with a capital m and this is where we're going to put our actual V menu files so double click in here and drag and drop all of these files inside but once you guys have done that to get everything done in once we are also before we add it to our server.cfg gonna have to make sure we got the exact permissions code into our server.cfg as well so to do that open up the readme it provides with you and go down to the installation files code install this all you guys are going to do is grab this permissions right here exactpermissions.cfg highlight that if it lets me highlight it without going back to a new line constantly there we go copy and paste that I'll copy it even and you can close this download now and before we go to your server.cfg we are going to have to move something that go inside of your V menu config file grab your permissions.cfg and drag and drop it in to the resources folder go back to resources grab your permissions.cfg and drag and drop it into your cfx default folder and from here you'll be able to see your permissions.cfg is now with your server.cfg which is it which is where it needs to be for it to work correctly once you guys have done that open up your CFG with anything that can open and edit words I use notepad plus plus but it's really up to you what you guys use and now anywhere in the top above your resources starting so it could be right here click enter and then control V by exactpermissions.cfg that we just copy and pasted head down here and make sure you guys have this line of code put in if you don't all you guys need to do is type insure or start it's really up to you can type in show or start basically that means start the plugin pretty self-explanatory and then type in the name of the folder that we just put it has to be the exact name otherwise it will not work because lowercase V capital M and then a menu just like that you can now hit save and there you guys go you have now successfully installed v-menu into your guys's server so what I'm going to do now is I'll hop in to the game and I'll show you guys how to use it so once you guys get in game what are you guys are going to need to do to make sure that your server has installed the menu correctly is simply hit M and just like that you should be able to see that your V menu has popped up another check that your admin permissions are working correctly which should sync with your TX admin permissions that we set up in the previous video you want online players click yourself you should be able to see that you can ban yourself hit yourself Etc teleport support and all that jazz which means that your TX admin has also successfully linked with your V menu if you guys haven't done your TX admin permissions with your V menu because you have installed your server a different way then you guys are gonna have to check out the readme think that it provides you towards his page because it will explain further then but I can't really do everything in one video as I am going off the previous video that I did before to kind of make it a continuous series if you guys haven't followed my previous video and you haven't saw the server a different way then make sure you guys check out the link he provides in his readme but other than that be sure to check out the menu go through all the different things as I said you can spawn in vehicles it's a really really useful really really useful menu and with that you can also no clip by hitting F2 that comes with v-menu you can hit F2 to toggle no clip and then you can just hit Escape sorry not Escape it F2 again to close it you can also speed up your noclip Etc and then Q to raise yourself well basically all the controls are in the bottom here and then see to lower yourself down really really useful if you guys are trying to admin a role play server but yeah as I said the menu is a very very useful server
