How To Install The Elden Ring Convergence Mod (Step by Step Tutorial)

here is how to install the Elden ring convergence mod along with some troubleshooting at the end links and timestamps can be found in the description below let's get into it first we need to download the installer for the mod click the link for the mod I left in the description below if you do not have a user for Nexus mods go ahead and make one it's completely free once you've done that and you're locked in simply go to file and then download the convergence Elden ring downloader here all right so here it is in my downloads folder we double click that and now it will ask us where to download and unpack the mod to here it is very important to choose the drive that you installed ELD ring to if you have some custom folder where you put the game you risk that the mod will not find it when you're trying to launch it and a high encourage you to install the Elden ring in the standard folder that steam suggests it's just easier I already made a new folder on my desktop called Elden ring mod and I will put it right there all right so here we have the uh folder I open this then you want to double click the launch mod Elden ring dobat here we go there's the game it's launching the mod now there might be a few things that can prevent you from playing the mod the first I already mentioned ensure that the game is installed on the same drive as the mod in my case my game is on my C drive and my mod is on my desktop which is also on my C drive to check where you install elen ring going to steam turn these off there we go going to steam right click the game manage browse local files and here is the install path this is what it should look like for you this is what it looks like for me on The Mod is working another thing that could be the issue this was not obvious for me but uh for the mod to be able to launch the game Steam has to be open if you double click the mod steam is not open there is no game to launch so that needs to be there as well if like me you have a tendency to rightclick programs and pick run as administrator I tried that and actually for me that caed the game to not want to launch either if none of these work I suggest verifying the game inside steam to ensure that it is working as it should so to do that you want to go to steam you find elen ring in your games list right click properties install files and here you will find verify Integrity of game files this will take a bit of time but uh it can fix your issue then a uh final fix that I saw online but I have not tried it myself was to go to the files of the game itself and we will do that by going to man browse local files here we have the game and then on the Elden ring. exe file show more options properties you want to make sure that inside compatibility this run this program as an administrator that this is unchecked people have reported that this will prevent them from running the game so those are all my tips I hope this was helpful left a uh Reddit thread in the description below it is still very much active and some more suggestions may come up there after this video is up and the mod also has its own Discord server with suggestions that will be linked below as well if this did help you please leave a like remember Good Vibes are free and if you're curious about my thoughts on The Mod feel free to check out my video covering my first impressions have a fantastic day
