How to Install Linux Server in Windows without GUI for Low-end Device and ssh with VS Code

so what's up guys today I'm going to show uh how to install uh open the server uh in Windows mess and also I will show today how to connect uh vs code with uh vs code with Linux server using open SSH server so let's go so for the first time what we have to do is that uh so what we're going to do is that uh let's say install for the first time let's say so there's lots of tab opening on my laptop so let's close those let's see how first so download uh virtual box so here is it uh Windows host and click on Windows host so we are we will be downloading this uh Windows server for Windows host so that's it uh click on it and we'll be downloading this after that we will download window server so to let's say download server okay so we'll go here after that we will download open the server 23.10 okay we will with 2203 uh I prefer to use uh long-term support so I already downloads uh here is it virtual box and open the server I already downloaded those tools let's open VM box today so we'll be doing that so we'll click on new then we'll obviously I will delete the servers after that so no worries let's see if I have download this open server itself Lo see if we have open server before that please delete those delete those files let's say We'll delete these files as well okay let's delete delete there's no okay this file is already deleted uh let's refresh this yeah it's deleted so now we will select an ISO for it this is my ISO skip so we'll be using OS that is um we will also use this inv or skip installation then installtion detected over this type can be install until this start okay let's skip the installation so we can go as smoother as this next then I obviously will change Myas password later on because uh it's risky to put it in the internet so that everybody can install it Let's ignore this G installations I don't need any G installations for key so let's do it I will assign Ram to Ram itself one three cor is sign up for me next create an virtual box of 25 GB okay fine for me as well so that's it uh powering up my VM so what why are we installing uh virtual box because uh I don't want to boot my devices and go this and this I don't want to switch my terminal itself so that's the reason I'm don't want to I don't prefer um bobles because I don't want to switch uh systems uh switch once I so so let's I assume that I need Windows and I'm again going to restart my device I don't want that every time I don't want to restart my device that's the reasons uh for it so I'm going to use Linux systems as well as also Linux I prefer Linux environment because it uh I prefer Linux environment because it helps a lot during coding and it's it is also a very uh effective way so that we can install everything itself we'll go to English continue without updating then done open server we will just install the server no any no uh g g gu GUI uh what do you mean by GUI means uh if no one code like if you can understand g means this features like we can't see any uh buttons kind of this things so that's why we going to install let's say use Stander the sub done reset close I would like to format the MS actually so after we will do done or you want to continue we will delete format all the uh 25 GB that I allotted for it so let's say right now I'm going to use my name my server name I would set open to 2022 I would pick my username as uh AIA I will set a random password itself uh I don't want to go for pro I will just use and basic I will I would like to install op SSH Ser so what is my K of VI username this is my kop username I would like to to remote access to your server so that that's the reason allow over passwort authentications okay done done fing s key okay done this my uh so after that obviously I'm repeating itself after this installation I would completely delete the whole systems itself because um it's very uh it's very unethical or it's it's it it I'm posting this uh SSH thing in my internet if anyone can access so it's very dangerous to post uh use uh and I'm like SSH ssh is very uh like it's a risky thing like if you can see my SSH whole codes then you can access my server in the internet if my if my if my um server is connected to the internet then anyone can access my server using SSH code so it is very dangerous it is very dangerous so right now uh my uh Ser is getting installed so it's preparing for it it will take time around 20 to 30 minutes itself okay it will take time go and have a like have a chill pill before that I will pause it because I don't want to increase my record uh video a bit long so here is it uh all the things are running behind the computers so it will take time around 20 to 30 minutes so so I can even close it or maybe okay it's the installation is completed and it is maybe 1 minutes looks so let's do it okay it's getting reboot okay now let's log to my server is it let's check okay it's working so we LS means we are checking what folders are there so there is no folder are there so let's first okay let's teach you some Basics mkd is to create uh a folder mkd CV see now the folder name CV is created and to get inside the folder we'll do CV and to see what which uh folder we are we are in so for that we have to do PWD current uh directory okay now let's get out of this directory so the command is for C DD now PWD the current directory is home ass okay fine now we will do Local Host yes okay s Local Host we have activated Local Host okay well it's good then we are going to the settings then we'll go to network Advance port forwarding uh TCP host for 22 gas for 22 it's fine okay then we'll open the CMD let's try SAS Local Host here SSH Local Host let's see uh if there are any local host here cd. SSH okay uh director so let's remove this SSH folder for that maybe we have to do uh actually I don't know how to remove folder in in Windows let's see what's the command to command to remove folder in Windows CMD rmd okay rmd SSH CD dos c d CD dos SSH okay let's delete it from the terminal itself we'll go to SSH let's delete everything delete okay uh we'll refres it okay we have this delete all the folder itself now do SSH local post yes okay now it will show that uh it's not correct okay for that right now we have to okay we have uh now we'll go to our Linux terminal uh who am I my like my username is and also if I do host name host name is okay now we will do CMD SSH my username is Asa and my server is hosted at Local Host my server is hosted at local host in and the Local Host uh local through the Local Host we can access our server uh name that is going to so we'll do we already set our port forwarding in uh the file settings that you remember see machines networks port forwarding yeah we already did it so let's do it okay now see we can access our uh server now this is the CV we folder we have created that's very good now so we'll do vs code we'll do connect to host uh add new host what was our username SSH our username is AA and Local Host Port 2022 we'll do connect directly conect to host Local Host opening remote server now put the uh passwort of your ubuna server no that's it uh download uh downloading vs code server in Ubuntu so we are accessing uh this is the fastest solutions that you can do if you want to use your Linux server in Windows okay now let's do it terminal new terminal great use here okay now we can do F update okay I sorry yeah great now what we are we going to install python 3.8 okay P three okay 3.1 is already there so we'll be using python 3.10 it's fine wa now I'm going to install peep version pep is not there so install this in uh version to install should get Sal P the in uh package library to install uh like any library of python like anything okay then also it's very important to uh open and it's very important to also in Virtual environment so that uh you can create virtual environment what is virtual environment is that whenever you are uh making any um project then whenever we are making any projects then we have to use um virtual because because of mismatching packages because like uh there might be very different packages right with different versions so okay no VM gu running no system CD status let's see yeah it's running okay now what should we do fpt update this this is kind of refresh button for Linux after installing anything we have to do that cool nice see you in the next video
