[Music] hello and welcome to tech tool india in this video i am going to explain how you can install laravel line if you are new to the channel please do subscribe our channel let's get started for installing level 9 you must have set up php mysql and composer for laravel 9 the php 8.0.2 is the minimum php version which you require you have to set up your mysql and you need to have a composer setup in your local so by using composer we are going to handle all the dev dependencies of the laravel so let's go to the documentation there are several ways you can install laravel in this video i am going to explain how you can install laravel line via composer so no matter which operating system you are working on you can use composure to install your laravel application so in order to install it via composer i am going to copy this command and paste it in our terminal i am going to name it as first level nine and as soon as i hit and enter it will install as you see it it's downloading laravel 9.0.1 so it install all the composite dependencies so as you see it's installed so let's go to install project let's open it inside code editor i'm using vs code as a code editor so as you see let's open composer.json file you can see here laravel framework 9.0 and if you want to see which version it is so you can basically run this command php addison laravel version so it will give you the version of a level as you see level framework has the current version of 9.1.0 i have set up valet so i'm going to link this with the valet vale is a development environment for mac os so if you are using macbook or imac you can use a valet to to develop liable application locally so valet is very helpful for example i am just you know creating a virtual host for this with the https so i have to run this command valid link and then pass the secure i need to give you the permission as you can see it's creating the symbolic link for this now first level dot test is ready let's go to the browser all right as you open this it's working fine you can see you have laravel 9.1.0 and the php version is 8.1.2 so it's very simple via composer you can use laravel global installer as well you can install it globally and based on that you can use this liable command and create any new application and if you are not using valet so you just need to run this php artisan serve command on your terminal it will serve your application on 800 port so you by using that as well you can host your application locally i hope this is clear it's very simple to install any liability application in your local if you find this video informative please do like this video please do subscribe our channel if you face an issue let us know in the comment section till the next video keep watching keep learning thank you for watching [Music] you
