How to Install Hyper-V in Windows Server 2022 !! Create & Run New Virtual Machine !! How Its Works

hello everyone welcome to my YouTube channel Rohit Tech today in this video I am going to show you how to install hyper-v and create and run virtual machine on Windows Server 2022 this is our computer name server our domain name is stb.local our ethernet 0 IP address is 172.16.0.1 now I am going to install hyper-v-roll on this server click on dashboard click add roles and features click next select role-based and feature-based installation then click next click next click on hyper-v click add features click next click next click next again create virtual switch select ethernet 0. click next virtual machine migration leave as default click next this is default location for virtual hard disk files I am going to change this default location we'll use S Drive instead of C drive click next click restart the destination server automatically if required click yes click install now installation in progress it will take some time in this installation process server will restart automatically press Ctrl alt delete log on as domain administrator hyper-v installation will continue now installation is succeeded click close here it is option hyper-v now I am going to create new virtual machine click tools click hyper-v manager let's maximize it select server right-click on server click new click virtual machine click next type name of virtual machine I am going to create virtual machine for Windows 7. click next specify generation there are two generations of hyper-v virtual machines Generation 1 and generation 2. in this generation one virtual machine this virtual machine support 32-bit and 64-bit guest operating systems and provides virtual Hardware which has been available in all previous versions of hyper-v in this generation 2 virtual machine this virtual machine generation provides support for newer virtualization features has uefi-based firmware and require a supported 64-bit guest operating system note once a virtual machine has been created you cannot change its generation click next assign memory for the Windows 7 machine 1GB RAM is sufficient click next configure networking click connections select virtual switch click next virtual hard disk set the hard disk size 40 GB sufficient for Windows 7 installation click next installation options select install and operating system from bootable CD DVD ROM select image file ISO click browse choose the Windows 7 ISO file destination path select ISO file click open click next click finish now our Windows 7 virtual machine is created now I am going to install Windows 7 operating system on this virtual machine right click on it click Start now our virtual machine is started click next click install now in this Windows 7 image file it's have all Windows 7 Edition in 32-bit and 64-bit I am going to select Windows 7 Home basic 64-bit Edition click next click I accept the license terms click next click custom as you can see the hard disk space is 40 GB we had set 40 GB space for Windows 7. click Drive option click new click apply click ok I have created a single partition of the entire hard disk click next now the installation is started now I am fast forwarding the Windows 7 installation process type a username click next the mouse is not yet connected to this virtual machine so that's why I'll do the keyboard key to move the option forward click next type password in my case I have not set yet password at this time click next select ask me later choose Indian Standard Time click next now this is our Windows 7 desktop so viewers in this video you can learn how to install hyper-v and how to create new virtual machine in hyper-v on Windows Server 2022 thanks for watching this video please like share and subscribe my channel and press the Bell icon for latest updates
