Hey guys, this is NotSenz
Today, i'm going to cover the process of how to install
a realistic or custom gun sound mod to put inside of your GTAV directory
to use in FiveM. Today, i'm going to be installing the
"Realistic Guns Sounds" mod by XENORT. Just to show you guys quickly what this mod
does, i'm going to play a few clips of me shooting a tazer. Both with
the mod and without the mod installed: Okay, so now that you guys know what it does. I'm going to show you how to install it. The first thing that you want to do
is go to this website here. It'll be the first link in the description. One you've done that, click on
"DOWNLOAD". Then it'll take you to
a new page, where you can click "DOWNLOAD" again. What that'll do is download this file
to your "Downloads" tab. By the way, you do need a program such as
WinRar or 7zip to open this, but go ahead and click "OK" to save the file
then let it save into your "Downloads" folder. Okay, so once you've installed the mod,
it'll be inside of your "downloads" folder. Go ahead and open it up. For this, you're going to want to go to "OPTIONALS"
and then "FIVEM COMPATIBILITY". you can see here we have
"WEAPONS_PLAYER.rpf" and "RESIDENT.rpf". these are the two files we are going to drag
and drop into our GTAV directory. So, finding your GTAV directory
is different, if you're on Steam, or Epic Games, or Rockstar Games. I'm going to show you how to [find] all three. In order to find your GTAV folder on Steam,
Go to the hard drive where you have your Steam games installed
at. Go to "STEAM LIBRARY"
"STEAMAPPS" "COMMON"
and then your GTAV folder will be in here. for Epic Games,
Go to the hard drive where you have your Epic Games
installer at. Go ahead and click on the "EPIC GAMES" folder,
then your GTAV folder will be inside of here. Finally, for Rockstar Games,
Just go to the hard drive wherever you have your
"Rockstar Games" installed at, Click on the "ROCKSTAR GAMES" folder,
then your GTAV folder will be inside of here. I have GTAV on Steam,
so i'm going to go ahead and go to "STEAM LIBRARY", "STEAMAPPS", "COMMON",
and then GTAV. Once you have your in-game directory,
I'm going to show you where you can drag those two files that we just downloaded. So, go to "x64",
go to "AUDIO". go to "SFX",
and then here is the folder. what you're going to want to do
is take these two files that we've downloaded,
select them, and drag them into this folder here. What this'll do, it'll say:
"This destenation has two files with the same names"
That's fine. We're going to replace them because
these two files with the same names are just the old weapon sounds. So, click on "YES".
and that's it! You've successfully installed
a "reaslistic" or "custom" soundpack to use in FiveM! I hope you found this video helpful. If you have any
questions, please leave them in the comments. Again, the link to this mod will
be inside of the desctiption of the video. please do me a favor and leave a "LIKE"
on the video. This'll help with the video's analytics. Other than that, I hope you have fun in FiveM
and enjoy your new weapon sounds!
