every time I cook smells terrible smell lingers and that's why I called you guys fish onions I want it out of this room so it smells all night after you're done eating oh it smells for days so this is a great convenient combination microwave yep and yeah it's got a vent pulls the grease and smoke up through here and this one here vents out through the top I see I would imagine this is probably inside wall here it is okay because if not we like to vent them outside immediately right but to vent this outside you have to go up with it across the attic over to here I see that's the outside wall it's a lot of work yeah I have a better solution let me show you Joey and this is what I've brought this is a through wall exhaust fan which means it vents directly outside and it's 250 CFM's CFM cubic feet per minute which is a lot of air it's really gonna pull the smoke and the smell out of this kitchen crate so on the outside there's a flapper when it's open the air is coming out and when it's closed it's got a nice airtight seal so no cold air will come in excellent now on the inside we've got this grill it's just being like that I've got to get power to this and I got a cut a big hole what I was thinking right above this window here it's an outside wall we'll get that right there I think that looks terrific sky let's get started okay well looks like there's a stud here and a start here to verify it I'm going to use my fish tape put it in to the left once it hits wood pull my finger yeah pull it out that's your first done the second one we would go in the same way until it hits wood pull it out and there's our second step now that'll give us the open bay that I need to cut this hole gotcha all right Joanne we have a little situation here so your fascia board right here yeah instead of being flat is angled forward so my fan housing is angled falling we don't want that we want it to be straight up and down so I'm gonna build out of this cellular PVC I'm gonna build a frame and it's gonna allow us you have it straight up and down beautiful now I'll drill a hole through the top plate once in the attic I'll fish the wire along the floor up the rafter we'll go right into this existing box which has Carson cop we go bare wire to be a wire for the ground white to white black to black all right Joanne Paola is back on when you pull the chain just go to the right it'll open the vent and turn the fan on here we go there we go that's it so we know it works but I brought something to make sure it works all right I'm gonna cook up some smoke here it's a smoke grenade and what this will do is just give us some smoke look at this okay whoa now I know you don't cook like this but if you did this is what would happen all right I think we've seen enough smoke right that's a pretty good one look it's going out yeah so there's the smoke all carrying right out through there look at that we can see the smoke you
