what's up YouTube and welcome to a quick and easy video on how you can install extra brushes into Infinite painter I'm going to show you two different ways and we're going to start off with downloading them from the web now there's plenty of websites out there where you should be able to download some extra brushes for infinite painter gumroad being one of them and that is where today's creator has provided this brush each sites process will be ever so slightly different from one another but we're aiming to get either a zip file or a PR BR file which is a singular brush or a PR zp which is a collection of brushes now don't be put off by the technicals of this I just wanted you to be aware of the differences in the file types so for example this tree set here on gumroad this particular creator has allowed us to Simply go to the option here of entering in the amount that we want to sort of pay for this and we can enter zero if we want to and we can hit I want this now what this is then going to do is allow us to then enter an email address which will receive the file in so if we hit get I'll then receive that file to my downloads but also into my area here on gumroad where I can get the file now you'll be able to see that the tree pack is a PR zp which is what we saw a second ago which is a collection of brushes and I can go to the option of download now as I mentioned each site will be slightly different but what you want to do is you want to download the file and I'm using Chrome so I get a little pop-up at the bottom here and I want to hit the option here of download and then once it's downloaded I then need to open it in a particular point so I'm going to tap on this and I need to save it to my files so I'm just going to use this option here of save to files when I tap on this it's then going to give me a bunch of locations that I can save it in and I've created a folder called ipbrushes and I'm going to save it into there so I'll just hit save and that file has been saved to your files that's exactly what you want to do on any device that you have you want to save the zip file or the actual file itself one of the pr options straight to your files first of all and now we'll move on to step two which is getting it unzipped so what we'll do is we'll go to our files and once you find the file that you've got you'll see here that this particular format is a zip basically a zip file is a way of just zipping it up so you can then send it to somebody else and you just need to unzip it to see what's inside and it'll be one of the two formats we already mentioned so if I tap on this ZIP here on my iPad it will unzip it straight away and I can see the file here potentially on different devices maybe even on Android you may need to download a particular app that will unzip a zip file but on iPad you can simply tap on the file and then you'll get the pr zp format here for this tree pack now what we can do is switch over to infinite painter and get it imported once we're in infinite painter we're going to go up to the three dots here in the top right we're then going to go to the option of import and we're going to select from files which is of course where we saved the file to once you tap on files you're going to want to go ahead and navigate to the folder that you have saved the brush too and I had mine in IP brushes and we can see the pr zp format there is allowing us to import it the zip files don't work so that's why you have to unzip it first and if we tap on the tree option here you'll see at the top left file is imported and then when we go over to our brushes and we take a look at our collections here I've actually imported it twice now but you can see at the very top you've got a new collection of brushes how cool is that so that's how you go ahead and grab them from the web but there's also a built-in version into Infinite painter we can download them from the community so in your brushes you'll see this little plus icon at the Top If we tap on this plus and we go to the option here of download what this is going to do is pull in all the community brushes that have been created from other members of of course the community now the problem with this at the minute for me is it's a little bit Limited in terms of there's no search function or anything like that so you'll just have to Simply scroll through until you find a particular brush that takes your fancy now I've found this Cloud brush pretty quickly and then once you find one that you like just tap on it and give it a second it will start downloading in the background and it will eventually gray itself out once it has been downloaded and you'll see there at the top is imported and now it's grayed out and then to find that brush you go back out of the community and you go to this option here that will show now called downloads and in there you'll find the brush that we just downloaded and if I set my color to Black there you'll be able to see that we just added in a really cool Cloud brush how easy is that but if the developers are watching if you add a little search function into that or even a full screen view so we can maybe view three across our time that would be great now one thing to note with importing brushes into Infinite painter is they have their own file format which is those PR formats that we spoke about a second ago so you won't be able to use brushes that are made for example procreate or otherwise Photoshop so there we go just a quick and easy video on how you can import brushes into Infinite painter drop a like down below if you found this useful thank you so much for watching and I'll see you in the next one
