How to hack any IR Remote using arduino.

this is a remote from a music system doesn't work properly anymore because it has been falling a couple of times from my hands so instead of buying a new one which is pretty cheap I decided to show you how you can hack one for yourself so let's begin when we push a button on our remote it sends some codes through the i/o transmitter in order to send those code we first need to know them for that we are going to use an IR receiver and an Adreno connect the output pin of the IR receiver which is on the left to pin 11 on the Adreno middle pin is ground and to the right is VCC now install the IR remote library and upload the IR a demo example sketch to the Adreno board now when we press the button on a remote pointing towards the receiver we can see it's code popping up in the serial monitor make a note of that and we are good to go okay so now we know what to send let's test it first on a breadboard I added three buttons on pin 4 5 & 6 and added 3 1k pulldown resistor and connected the i/o transmitter on pin 3 100 ohm resistor don't worry if you confuse you can find the schematic diagram part list in the description of this video then I gave it a quick test and it was a success great after that I saw that all the parts together on a PCB which took roughly around an hour I gotta say soldering all those parts together on a PCB is quite a challenge after that I gone ahead and wrote the program for the remote every button has its own if statement when the button is pressed it will try to send its code by using the IR send or send neck function I have also included the Lupron library to improve the battery life which puts the Adreno in sleep mode if the remote hasn't been used for 10 seconds and to wake it up we have to press the button connected on pin 2 I hope you liked this video and if you did please click that like button and consider subscribing to my channel if you haven't already also let me know what you think about this project in the comment section below in my upcoming videos I plan to design a homemade PC before this project since I never tried that before it will be a great learning experience for me and for you hopefully so that's about it for this video and I will see you guys in the next one [Music]
