How To Grow Basil From SEED TO HARVEST at Home- Easiest Way!

hey guys welcome back to my second channel so today i will be showing you how to plant your own basil from seed to harvest and actually i'm going to harvest the seed from my already existing basil plant so it has now been producing flowers and actually from the flowers you can get seeds from it so basically i will sew that seed to hopefully have lots of basil to harvest i've watched a lot of tutorials on how to plant basil so let's go ahead and see if this would be a success for me too so let's get started alright so you guys this is my basil plant right here it is flourishing right now and as you all can see i made some progress right here and it's fully grown and i also have another one popping out right there but i will be showing you guys the process on how i got this so in here contains the seeds so i'm just gonna go ahead and pick some so in there there's the seed right there if you open that up so i'm gonna harvest some more and then i am going to show you guys how i plant them so those are the seeds that i've already separated um from there so that's actually a lot already all right so in here i just put potting mix and then i'm just going to kind of like sprinkle them with water and then to moisten it up and then after that then poke it [Music] and then i'll add in about two to three seeds so i'm just gonna put them right inside there and then close it [Music] do the exact same thing on these other ones and i'm just gonna water it once again right there and then i'm just gonna label it here basil right there so in here i'm just gonna do a little bit of an experiment and this is a combination of potting mix and the garden soil so all i'm doing right here is i'm just gonna sprinkle in the seeds wherever it drops and see if they just germinate in this oil okay so it's day three of my basil and as you guys can see there's already like a shoot coming up i'm not sure if y'all can see that but one is right there and there's the other one all right so day three here's what they look like they're actually growing really well on this soil so there they are and this is what it looks like on day five you guys today is day six and as you all can see i have a lot of growth already okay you guys so it's day 18 of my basil and this is what they look like they actually locate look like aliens at this point but yeah aren't they so cute day 18. and this is what it looks like oh my dog's barking but look at them here we go i was actually wondering what this one is because it it grows like a basil but it doesn't look like one i mean the leaves does not look like one but yeah [Music] so my conclusion is they have to have um a really good amount of sun and the their soil has to be very moist at all times and that's what i noticed um growing some basil and if you guys have noticed they actually look a lot healthier versus the basil that i got them from this was actually planted way earlier um than those than them so but these are growing really great and if you come to think of it this one was actually planted ahead way before um them so [Music] and this is what they look like right now they're actually really really tall however i don't know if you guys notice right there but they've been attacked too so see they're they're so healthy and look they're under attack there there's one there too i just really need to find i'm kind of like a spray natural spray to prevent those insects or pests from attacking them all right you guys so that is it that is how to grow a basil and as i've said i'm actually going to transplant them and send them to my sister because at that point in their of their lives of their basil lives it's very easy to grow them at that point and to make them grow taller and all that so yep that is it you guys i hope you all liked this video and found this video helpful and i will see you on my next vlog bye
