welcome everybody to another episode of latice inspired today i'm going to be doing a very simple dish but one of my favorites grilled lamb chops i'm going to be showing how you can make it at home this is different to the tandoori lamb chops sometimes the tandoori lamb chops can be overwhelmed with spices but this is going to have subtle spices and a very few spices and it's going to be absolutely gorgeous so let's crack i think to on [Music] what a wonderful ingredient i've got one kg of ribs sorry lamb chops this is the rib chops so you can see over here it's got some of the fat on and that's going to be absolutely gorgeous and it's got the top bit of the rib it's going to be very very flavorful i promise you so this is one kg and the spices i've got some salt i'm using smoked paprika i'm using just ground black pepper and cumin uh for the spices and some olive oil uh so yep let's start mixing so this is one kg of uh the lamb goes in just add some olive oil there you go nicely mixed with all the oil and what that's going to do is going to capture all the spices and people ready for us to grill right so here are the spices um i have two heaped teaspoons of smoked paprika two teaspoons of ground cumin and one teaspoon of cracked black pepper so now i'm going to add the salt this one so that's one and a half teaspoon of salt and now for some oregano that's two teaspoons spice is all mixed and now add it to the lamb right this is all we mixed good five minutes of massaging it and what you can do you can leave this for a good hour to marinate or at least 30 minutes which we're gonna do right the lambs marinated wonderfully now put it into a preheated grill and so this is not the oven this is the grill we use the dry heat to lock in all the flavors from the lamb it's going to be absolutely stunning beautiful so put it into the grill we're going to cook it for about between five to seven minutes on one side until you see the sort of browning once you see that browning and then it's going to be ready to flip to the other side and hopefully cook it for another five to seven minutes and you just have to keep an eye on it and when you see the browning then you know it's ready all right ladies and gentlemen let's have a look it's been about six seven minutes and when you have these sort of browning on the meat that's ready to flip over which we're going to do now right this side's been cooking away for a good five to six minutes and there you go voila beautiful look at that meat cooked it should be nice and soft and tender inside you don't want to overcook the lamb beautiful there you go i've got the cast iron sizzler so got some onions and peppers a bit of olive oil let the onions fry [Music] on a cup of mint yeast so right so we've got some grilled chicken it's got some lovely spices garam masala that's why it's it looks like jamaican jerk chicken but hopefully it's going to taste wonderful and now we've got some lovely lamb which we've grilled and hopefully it's going to be absolutely beautiful with some roasted onions and peppers and got some olives to go with it and now we've made a rice as well i don't uh let me check this out wow look at that look at that absolutely gorgeous so ladies and gentlemen hope you've enjoyed it i mean look at that lamb that oregano and all those prep peppers paprika cumin very flavoursome very tasty and the meat is still a little bit pink inside so it's very succulent and juicy served in a sizzler it was absolutely wonderful so i hope you've enjoyed it and don't forget if you've enjoyed watching this and you enjoy my recipes don't forget to like share and subscribe for more fantastic videos at latest inspired see you [Music] a soon [Music]
