How to get the Lost Ark Flying Nimbus Mount FAST(er)

all right what's up everybody if you're here it's because you're looking to figure out how to get this mount this is the flying nimbus mount how peaceful it's the only cloud about in the game currently eventually you'll probably be able to buy cloud mounts in the store so if you want to grind this out you just want to wait for it to go into the store that is your prerogative but it is a really fun mount i've really enjoyed having it i want to show you how exactly to get them out so first i'm just going to kind of drive it around just so you can get a good look because i know some people do want to just see what it looks like uh and the mount is pretty cool i really enjoy it it's pretty fast it's got a pretty decent recovery for its speed boost however there are no other abilities so you've got a cue you can push you just get a boost and that is it there's no fancy flips no fancy anything that's all you get as far as button pushes do anything with the mount however the mount looks really cool and i really enjoy it um so this video is going to talk about where you're going to find this mount all right what island you need to go to what you need to farm and how you can actually purchase them out i'm going to show you some of the tips i can i use to actually get my do which is the currency you need a lot a lot faster than i think other people are currently getting theirs um so without further ado we'll just go ahead and send you to the next part real quick before we go into the content though i do want to tell you i'm going to put time stamps below so if there's a certain part of this video you're looking for like how to get them out how to farm to do the best options for those i'm gonna try my best to make time stamps so you don't have to sit here and watch the whole thing just click what you're interested in and then you'll be able to get right to that spot all right so your first step to try to find genre is to actually go to the map and you will see that shangri spawns in three different locations north of north vern south of north vern and just above anika so you got to figure out which one of those are usually there's someone in the chat that's going to tell you hey here's where it's spawning so i just pay attention area chat and then i set myself off to get to shangri-la all right so once you get to shangri-la you'll see the whirlpool here this will spawn 10 minutes before the island actually shows up so that's a good indication you went to the right place be careful of people in the chat telling you to go to the wrong location for chandra they will do that so i usually wait till i see a couple of confirmations from people that it is in fact in location people are pinging uh but we're here and shangri is about to spawn and here's a tip if you want to get the most do on the island don't go in right away wait about 30 seconds you'll notice all these boats disappear and that's because they're all queuing into the island right now they're going to fill up their own island and they're going to get all their own do and i'm going to wait here and then i'm going to go in later and i'm going to get my own instance or not my own instance but a separate instance from them because they filled up that first island and so it's going to have to load me into another instance and now all the dew farmers are on a different island and i'm going into my own with people who maybe aren't farming as much do and so maybe there's going to be more flowers left because you're going to have a lot of competition for this dude people know about the mount they want to get them out and so you're going to find a lot of people trying to get to do so we're in here now uh and i'm just going to show you some of the quick routes that i like to run and also some of the things you need to know about how you can get a little bit of extra do while you're here [Music] so first off if you see groups of flowers like this it's great to play the song at them because you're going to be able to get due from all of the flowers that are within range of your song so groups of flowers should be your priority hit those first uh but i say first i mean if you see two flowers next to each other and then like over here you saw one flower you want to go for the two flowers first but don't just ignore single flowers because you're looking for doubles you're actually going to lose out on do by using that method we're going to go ahead and get into the main part of the island here and i'm going to show you everything if you hadn't come to this island first uh when you got here you'll see that there was a quest line up here you'd have to follow that quest line and it would pretty much bring you all the way through down here um but do that quest line first if it's your first time at shangri you gotta get quest line it's gonna give you an emote and it's gonna give you a song and you're going to need both to do uh daily missions that you will actually get due from so it's just worth it for your first visit to maybe not grind out as much to do as get that quest line done while you're trying to get some do all right so we're going to go ahead and come over this way and this is where we're going to start with my route and so i'm going to show you on this map here what my route is so we just came in through this way and here is where i start so i go through this area here and i jump across this gap and this area on the right hand side here that's kind of closed off i feel like a lot of people ignore this area for do and they just kind of try to go through all of this up here and they don't want to get tucked away in this corner but down here i i can find anywhere from 15 to 20 flowers it feels like there's a lot of doubles over there and so you're looking at you know 30 to 40 do potentially in this area if you hit it right and so i always end up taking my route through this area and then i also cross over here and then go up north here and i just do this circle i jump back across this gap and i go through here i go back through here and it's just this route here and i'll actually try to create a visual for you here let's grab it and so i can actually draw it for you so we go down through here jump across the gap i usually go around this way there's a flower right here so go back and get that and then you cross here take this lift get over here and then i usually go across this bridge this way there's a couple of flowers up here uh but there's tends to be like a lot more chances to get flowers here all those little marks are where i see two um and then i come back around here there's usually a ton in this area too then i take this lift back down here and cross back over and start my loop so that's my loop you can see i don't touch any of this other stuff over here i pretty much stick with this side of the island but don't skip out on this area and these areas next to where the lifts are on each part i'm just making this messy but whatever uh they all have a ton of dew that tends to congregate on them so try to hit those areas you'll get a ton of doubles uh in those areas all right so now that we've got that covered that's the route i would just be running it you know hit every flower that i can there's one there i'm gonna try to show you um that tucked away area over there in the corner because i swear a ton of people don't hit it obviously you want to do this island in a group as well uh to maximize your peaches while you're here because if you go into this this vendor here and i'll show you where he is on the map here you can see where we are here you go into this vendor and go to the second page here you can buy twenty do you can buy 20 do and it's a purchase limit 20 or 20. it costs you 10 peaches so it's going to cost you 200 peaches to buy this 20 do and you can buy this every time you visit the island so this is a really easy way to get 20 due very quickly just make sure you have 200 peaches um i would not do this daily if you're specifically trying to farm purdue i wouldn't do this daily um this is the area that i run though this corner here there's one person there but the big spot is usually right here and there it is so you've got one two three flowers here and you would play the song right in the middle here and you're going to see that you get a ton of dude just from the spot and so i always hit the spot first uh before i try to hit the others because someone else will snag it this is a really quick way to get a bunch of do you can see right there i got four just from playing the song once um so now we'll show you just some of the other places you you should be going and i will cut do that now all right so there's two dailies you want to make sure you get done on this island and you'll see here where i am on the map on this top part here between these i usually use these yellow dots as a good indicator of where to go here but i took the lift i got up to this area and you'll see i'm here so now i can run in between this bamboo here and get to the cave and it says feel the energy and that means i need to drink peach wine uh you can buy peach wine from the vendor the pot vendor the same one that we talked about that sells the mount and you can exchange peaches for your do uh and i just use the peach wine here and now it's going to let me into that cave and this is actually a daily so you can do this once per day per character so if you have alts they can come and do the same thing on the same day this is a stronger essence you can grab that if you'd like you do have i think there's eight to ten of them on the island that you can need to collect but this is the mission that you'll do this is a daily mission and you'll notice it gives you 10 due it's very quick i hit accept and you do slash spirit recovery and then while you're doing spirit recovery have slash cheer lined up because that's the next one you're going to have to do to finish the mission there you go it's done and you just got 10 due and 20 peaches just like that very quickly and so now i'll show you the second one all right you'll see the second daily that you want to do right here on the map and it's going to be a deer that you walk up to [Music] called a sacred deer and after a lot of chitchatting you'll find out you get 10 do from him as well and he wants you to find the bright eyed deer what you're gonna have to do is run around and the deer kind of tend to move they're not always gonna be saying here's one of those groups i was talking about by the way you could play the song right here get all four of these flowers uh but anyway when you're looking at the deer the sleepy deer aren't going to help you you only want to find the bright eye deer there's going to be bright deer there's going to be sleepy deer there's going to be clear-eyed deer just looking for a bright eye deer and even then it may not be the right one we're just going to keep running through there's a clear idea look at all the do over here this is what i'm talking about you see these doubles here you would you would do those first then you would come back and hit these singles you could probably hit both of those playing in the middle here this is a lot to do and i got in this instance because i waited there's not a lot of people here trying to get to we're going to keep trying to find this stinking bright idea there's a bright deer but he's not bright-eyed there's a bright-eyed deer and this happens to be the right one there however you're going to find other bright idea that aren't going to be the right one it's going to say something like oh his eyes are bright but they're not wide or whatever so you want to find the deer the bright idea that actually says this to you you go through their story and then you talk to them one more time and that'll complete it and you'll get that do as well and that's it for the dailies so once you've done those two dailies you're good to go now you're just running around farming do as much as you can try to keep a consistent route you have 35 minutes at this island and you'll get a timer at 32 giving you a three minute warning uh so you've got a lot of time to run around trying to get due i tend to hit when i was doing this between 150 and 190 due per island on my best island i think i got over 200 on my worst one i think i only topped out around like 105. so it really depends on how much competition you have and so it's really important to try to get in that island a little bit late so you can try to avoid the islands that are overpopulated you can see there's two everywhere on this one i'm not even trying to get the do but there's do everywhere so i clearly got into an instance where there's not a lot of people farming do and i could easily have racked up a lot of do just in this one visit i want to make a quick note here for the sacred deer quest the one where you eventually look for a bright-eyed deer you do have to have this quest done twice uh so this is a daily quest first time you come here do it it'll give you 50 peaches for collecting peaches from trees and then the next time you come do it again and then the second time you complete it it will unlock that daily with the deer so you can't do the deer daily your first time visiting every time after that you'll be able to do it all right so now you know how to get your due you know what daily quest to do to get the do but how much do you need and how do you get them out there's two different ways you can get this mount there are no other ways currently there are two different ways one is to go to this ancient jar here go to do exchange and buy it flat out right here the flying nimbus you can buy it straight from this new jar and you need seven thousand five hundred all right so seven thousand five hundred do obviously that's a bit of sticker shock that is pretty expensive so you're looking at getting one to two do per flower and playing this song an awful lot of times and visiting shangri a lot to get this mount now you have one other option there is an event on this island that happens every time you visit called rescue the stone monkey it'll have you go and beat this big stone uh and in the end a monkey will pop out and that monkey have a good chance of giving you a quest called looking for the flying nimbus and the quest one of the rewards is the flying nibbus mount this is how i got them out i did the quest and that quest will actually tell you that it needs you to find luminous silver do so you're going to do some things in anika or annika however you want to pronounce it and then it's going to eventually say go back to shangri-la and find luminous silverdew and you'll see luminous silverdew is right here but to purchase it you just need 7000 do so really all the quest is is a 500 due discount to get them out um after farming seven thousand do i thought oh finding 500 more wouldn't be that difficult but you'll be surprised once you hit 7 000 you'll be done with this you just want to get it done so it's worth it to have the quest lined up so do that stone monkey event at some point you're going to be here a million times trying to get due anyway so do that stone monkey quest or and get that quest so that you can just buy this luminous silver do i bought it um after you get the luminous silver do the quest line does not ask you to do anything crazy you just need the spirit recovery emote and the song of spring which you'll already have from visiting the island everything else you'll be good to go uh and it's very short after you actually buy this luminous silver do um so once you buy that you're good to go those are the two ways to get them out so again you need either 7 500 if you want to buy it flat out or 7 000 if you're going to do the quest and so that's pretty much everything i will tell you the shangri-spawns at least for the east coast are 6 a.m noon 4 p.m 6 p.m 10 p.m and midnight so you have six opportunities to get to shangri-la during the day i really wouldn't recommend trying to hit all six i know some of you may really want to grind this emote out but hitting the 12 p.m and then or 12 a.m and then hitting the 6 a.m is a bit rough especially if you're working all right don't don't stretch yourself out trying to get this amount what i did is generally focus the 12 p.m to 12 a.m uh sean grassman's i hit those five and i was good um i got them out within a week so just stay with that pattern don't go too crazy but that's it you've got to go to chandra farm your do and then buy the mount do the do the quest if you want an easier route get that luminous silver do and then you're good to go and then you've got your flying nimbus mount so i hope you guys enjoyed this video i hadn't seen anything on the flying nimbus mount and i just wanted to give everybody a good look at to the best processes i was using and just what the mount looked like i really hadn't found any videos where people showed someone using it so i hope you
