how to get soft hair that is a topic of today's video so when you think of soft hair right a lot of a lot of you think like you know your hair is super rough or super dry or super coarse you want to feel the exact opposite of that texture and usually yes it's soft or silky right silky hair is probably something that you may be thinking of smooth hair right there's a lot of terminology that can be used for that to me anytime the hair feels like silk right or very very smooth or yes soft it's it's usually depends on the hair texture naturally and the products that you're using all right now for a haircut like this this to me it's a hundred percent human hair it's very very soft and very silky and there's a number of reasons for that the hair naturally this human hair right here is pin straight and in perfect condition so if you have hair that is like this very very silky very very straight chances are naturally your hair already is soft or silky or smooth if you do have the hair type that is a bit more coarse or dry or rough feeling there's a few things you can do to help soften it up the first thing is the products that you're using in the shower whether you're you know whatever shampoo or conditioner you're using you may need to change that up i myself have great conditioning products for your hair my pure set the volume set even the hemp set is phenomenal the conditioner you need to leave the conditioner in your hair for a short period of time or you can use something like my carbon masks the intense one the regular one let that sit for you know 10 minutes up to 20 minutes and what that's going to do that's going to condition the hair flatten the cuticle and make it lay closer to the head and make it a lot softer and silkier feeling you need to condition your hair if you're not conditioning your hair and you're saying to yourself oh i don't want my hair to be flat or you're watching some random youtube video of some guy saying oh don't use conditioner for your hair and who doesn't know what he's talking about don't listen to these people you need to use conditioner to make your hair feel silky smooth or soft you may yes you may not be getting as much volume but what's more important to you do you want to have this type of hair where it feels like that or something full of volume and it's like super dry and it feels like pure like hay it depends on what you really want but if you are looking for that type of texture in your hair and that feeling you need to think about making it much silkier and softer and smoother feeling another thing you can do is use like maybe 25 spray my pre-styler or you can use a smoothing serum like i have one called sleek but a smoothing serum is really going to make your hair feel very very silky soft you don't want to use a lot of it you work a little bit you know dime size if that into the hair when it's wet you can blow dry it or you can dry your hair fully take that little bit of that sleek run it through your hair and what that's going to do is going to add some moisture and some natural oils to your hair to make it feel like that and there's a difference between feeling silky smooth and greasy right greasy your hair looks very very wet very very oily you want your hair to feel more nourished and natural and that's where you know it's going to do that by using the right products also when you're styling it using a brush i've got many many videos on how to smooth out your hair you need the right brush and right tools to get your hair to feel silky if somebody comes into me and they've got hair that's a complete mess it's very dry fly away damaged i'm going to use my tools ie a great blow dryer a great brush great products to make it feel smooth and silky and to make the hair feel complete opposite of being in bad condition so that's where you're going to be needing a lot of these items and these things to make your hair feel like that it doesn't just happen overnight doesn't happen naturally but if you use the right methods techniques and products you'll be in a good position thanks for watching and i'll see you soon you
